I went for the kebab and salad, which was perfect for lunch and great value too. Always nice to see more plant-based choices popping up in small towns!

Lots of good options for vegans. I got the haggis topped nachos - it was really tasty and filling. Someone else had the vegan kebab wrap. Food was also enjoyed by non-vegans. Good price too

The food here is quite expensive eg. £27 for 4 small plates. We got a vegan Wellington for £17, and a burger and chips for £15. The Vegan choices seemed to have been reduced- there were no vegan desserts. The food was actually really tasty, and especially the wellington, and the food was well presented. The staff were helpful. The decor is not vegan friendly with a big mounted stag’s head on the wall and there’s only a few tables near the bar where this isn’t within view. There aren’t really any other options in this area. I’d rated it higher if it wasn’t for the price and the dead animals used as decoration.

The vegan options are imaginative and very tasty! I’m lucky enough to live close by so this is a regular haunt for me. I’ve never been disappointed. I’d give 5 stars if I could.

Read moreI opted for items from the small plates menu, a version of ‘tapas’. There were 5 vegan options, which meant that I had no problem taking up the 4 for £25 offer.
I had the mushroom croquetas, sweet potato falafel, spinach gyoza, and crispy Jack fruit wings. They were all really tasty and more than enough for one person. My partner got to taste them all too!
It was also easy to identify the vegan friendly wines.
Reason for 4 stars: no vegan dessert option. However, I should mention that I did not ask if there was anything that could be made vegan as I was too full for entertain having dessert.

Lots of vegan options which were clearly marked on the menu. 3 vegan burgers, pizza, salad, fajitas and more. We had burgers and pizza. They were very tasty and generous helpings. Also a good selection of desserts. Chocolate and caramel cheesecake was amazing! Menu states they also have a vegan soup daily. The specials had vegan options too. We’ll be back.
