What a difference from my last visit a few years ago. Menu clearly marked with vegan options such as curry, burger, fajitas, parmigiana. We had a starter of bau buns followed by parmigiana . Will be back!

Enjoyed the soup of the day (roasted tomato) and spinach and mushroom pie very much. Tasty fresh homemade chips too.

Pretty good vegan food for a rural pub! A fair few options on the vegan menu. Had a vegan pizza with vegan cheese which was pretty good, although cheese a little sparse. Good breakfast options if staying at the hotel overnight!

A whole vegan menu to choose from, which is unusual for a pub, especially a rural one. I had the cauliflower fritters, which were more like deep fried cauliflower florets, but good, although lacking in flavour. My wife had the vegan meat balls and rice, which were yummy.
Read moreMy meal was quite beige, so I recommend getting the vegetables with the cauliflower fritters to balance it out. Overall, a good meal of pub grub which was very filling.

Came here tonight for my birthday. The website said there was a vegan menu and we were not disappointed. There was even vegan wine available which is not always the case in pubs. We had the mushroom fritters, stuffed peppers, fajitas and veg stir fry. It was all lovely and very friendly service too!

Pub meals but generally better and veggie - Edit
On the face of it, this is just another country pub serving pub food. But when you look carefully, it turns out a lot better than that.

The landlady is vegetarian, so there is always a decent choice of vegetarian food - and it is good.
There are vegan options, but we've not tried them yet.
