Vegan option

A very unexpected and random find.

We just popped in for a pint, wondered about the chips, got a menu, and what was in the corner? 'Vegan Options'. Not only that, but the landlord is very accomodating and actively keen to welcome vegan trade.

We were just snacking, but the chips were 11 out of 10; the best onion rings I've had in years; and some very flavoursome, not your standard, falafels.

The menu changes regularly. There was a nut roast main when we were in. I'm sure they'd add extra choices given 1-2 days notice too. And hopefully will have a dessert on soon, maybe even a vegan cask ale???

In the meantime, a lovely pub with some great walking nearby. Worth a trip.

Pros: Willing, friendly & obliging staff, Quality chips!, Quality onion rings!

Cons: No dessert - yet (Aug 2016), Yorkshire pud is not vegan, Cask ale not neccesarily vegan
