Not a lot of options - Edit
Menu is egg-heavy, not labeled but I was able to find two options (breakfast and a salad). It tasted good and it was a good amount of food.

It’s ok - Edit
A little pricey - I appreciate they have a couple vegan options but the serving sizes are small for the price. We left breakfast hungry still after spending $34 for 2 of us.

Unexpected greatness - Edit
The restaurant looks a little like a diner from the outside. It’s next to a small grocery store in a residential neighborhood. But once inside you realize the menu is extensive and creative and full of vegetarian options. The beet salad was fantastic and the carrot ginger coconut soup was remarkable. Definitely a hidden gem.

Now offering Meatless Mondays! - Edit
I heard about The Crabapple Café when they posted about Meatless Mondays in our Whistler Vegans Facebook group. I haven't made it on a Monday yet but I dropped by for brunch the other day and was impressed with the number of vegan items on the menu.
Read moreI enjoyed a hearty Garden Hash with scrambled tofu and a vegan cheesecake. I look forward to going for their Meatless Monday sometime.

Great place to stop on your way to or from Whistle - Edit
We had a black bean quinoa burger. It was fine with fresh avocado and tomato. The yam fries were stellar. There were several vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. The breakfast looked great...but i didnt see any vegan options. A good place to stop for lunch or breakfast.

Gluten Free Menu - Edit
Most dishes from breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are gluten free and can be produced vegan. The Thai Red Curry with tofu is wonderful is one of our favourites, it is gluten free and vegan. Needless to say, we are biased because this is our restaurant, but we'd love to welcome any Happy Cow members through our doors.

Great menu, great food, great atmosphere - Edit
I had the chance to visit Crabapple Cafe on a recent business trip. I had been there before but it has new owners (and a new name) - what a difference!
Read moreThey are vege/vegan friendly without being pretentious about it. Good options and the staff are knowledgeable and accommodating. I had a great meal and look forward to calling it my regular whenever I'm in that part of the world!
