Good vegan options, nice staff

Lovely old building in a great location. Vegan menu was impressive. The falafel stater was delicious. Staff are all helpful, good service.

Pros: Whole Vegan menu

Cons: Slightly expensive, service a little slow

Slow service, uninspiring vegan food, great location

A shame that despite the undeniably fantastic location right on the canal, the Carp is let down by quality and speed. Some of the vegan options have been mediocre at best, and not cheap. Much better quality options for meat eaters, but thankfully friends in that group no longer suggest it due to the speed of service. Huge queues and waits are especially evident on sunny days. It’s a pity as it’s perfect for a walk along the canal.

Pros: Super location on canal

Cons: Not cheap, Vegan food was mediocre , Service painfully slow
