Decent

There are hardly any vegan options around, let alone restaurants that have labeled menus (huge plus). The only downside is the menu changes often and sometimes there are more vegan dishes than other times. So it's really hit or miss.

Nice spot!

Beautiful location and still great on a rainy day! Limited to no options in the area so this venue was especially great. Multiple vegan options on menu that are all clearly designated.

Very nice spot!

Beautiful spot. We had the vegan burger and then added a burger onto the vegan gf quinoa dish. They were both great- the quinoa dish actually had flavor which was a good surprise- some places forget to season quinoa. I was surprised to find a little spot like this kinda in the middle of nowhere. I wish they had more options- especially in their kids menu- but we are used to it! I appreciate that there are flavorful options available.

Beautiful views & good food

The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and large windows overlooking the river. I enjoyed the veggie sandwich. They have beyond burgers and a couple other dishes that can be made vegan and mixed with beyond meat. Not a ton of options, but a good amount for the area.

It is not closed- Good Food, Nice Atmosphere

This app says it is temporarily closed but I went 11/26/21 and had a black bean burger and sweet potato tater tots. The burger was very good, the tater tots were excellent. My omnivore husband enjoyed his meal too and also loved the tater tots. They also have good local craft beer selections

Pros: Sweet potato tater tots, Nice pub atmosphere overlooking a covered bridge, Farm to table food

Not much in area, so might be best option around

Nice atmosphere, beautiful view of pemi and covered bridge... The vegan options are limited. The burger doesn't have a vegan bun, so mostly limited to things that can maybe be made vegan.

Pros: Beautiful outdoor seating, Beyond meat burger option

Cons: No vegan buns, Limited vegan options

Nice Restaurant with Few Options

The restaurant is named after a beautiful covered bridge next to it. Consider photo opportunities depending on the time of year.

That aside, the restaurant offers an underwhelming array of vegan options. That being said, I was grateful that there were a couple of options, albeit ones that are not original. I started with the charred cauliflower with lemon sauce, feta on the side. The lemon sauce was strikingly bitter and accompanied by too few olives. For the main course, I had the garden salad with two black bean burgers on top ($4 upcharge for each) with vegainaise on the side. The black bean burger is store-bought. They offer a beyond burger with fries, a falafel entree and a couple quinoa plates. For dessert there is one vegan option - a strawberry sorbet.

If you're ordering a margherita, make sure to specify Petron tequila. That option (a $3 surchage) makes for a much tastier drink than when served with the house tequila.

I'm not sure if the 50 minute wait for our food was due to Covid, but it was a bit drawn out, especially since we chose to eat outside and it was getting a bit chilly.

Pros: Some vegan options - thank you!, Friendly staff

Cons: Vegan options are not original , Long wait time for food
