Lovely cafe with a few vegan options - Edit
The vegan options were 2 ciabattas with vegan cheese and some amazing cakes. I have suggested they offer hummus as an alternative to vegan cheese, not sure if they will take me up on it. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The food is served in compostable packaging. It’s in the most beautiful place, lovely beach which you can access via the coast path or park in the car park for a small fee. There are public loos up some steps nearby.

Read moreFor the money I found the food inadequate and the service below par. Starter of Heirloom tomatoes in a pesto vinaigrette arrived without the vinaigrette. Advised that the chef has said his pesto was not vegan, so why was it in the menu? Not enough food on the plate. The hype was overinflated. Such a shame

Vegan taster menu - Edit
We had the vegan taster menu here, and really enjoyed it. Lovely views over Maenporth and helpful staff.

This was one of the best fine dining vegan meals I have ever had !
There wAs an excellent choice of options
The service was exceptional and there were no issues at all regarding having a vegan meal
Would be 5 stars but that’s only for totally vegan places

Have been here quite a few times but this was the first time I’d been there as a vegan. Had a lovely 3 course vegan meal here. They have a separate vegan menu with 3 options that can be either starters or mains. I had marinated tofu with a delicious miso-ey sauce and loads of veggies. Tempura broccoli too which was delicious.

Including delicious peanut cheesecake which I had, chocolate truffle and brownie, yuzu and lemon thing and a vegan affogato option with chocolate sorbet.
I’d have given it 5 stars but you can’t on here unless it’s fully vegan!
Restaurant is in a beautiful location, overlooking maenporth beach and the coastal path. Also they let you have dogs there which is a bonus but you have to sit in the conservatory section which is slightly chilly.
Pros: Lots of options and beautiful sea views , They Really know about veganism and are clued in, Loads of vegan pudding options. Yes!
Cons: It is on the pricier side. But worth it!

Read moreHonestly, the vegan options are simply stunning. You have to ask to see the menu though, because it is not on display. I think this is a great shame because more people would try them.
The vegan menu is different every time we have been, and always has at least 3 options, which can all be either starters or mains, plus 2 deserts. (They always have vegetarian options too)
The restaurant is very classy, and has a nice relaxed vibe, and the kids enjoy going too. But it is not cheap. The location is beautiful, with maenporth beach just across the road. The staff are charming.
(I wanted to give this 5 stars, but I can't because the venue is not 100% veggie)
