Best vegan breakfast in toga

LOVE this place and the owner. She is amazing, so kind and sweet. Only place that makes an effort and has a dedicated menu section for vegans. They have the best juice and jams. Plus cocktails if you’re in the mood! Love it here.

Nice vegan plate!

I enjoyed the tofu scramble, polenta and grilled grapefruit. The gluten-free toast and homemade jams were also delicious.

Don’t Bother

I always appreciate a restaurant that tries in offering vegan options.
But this food left me with a sour face & stomach.

I ordered the Vegan Breakfast Sandwich (curried anything isn’t my jam — though the server did say she thought they’d make the tofu plain).

1. Impossible or Beyond ‘meat’ is NEVER a good option. This was overcooked and very dry.
2. GF buns — just not worth ingesting.
3. This dry, in spite of a few slices of tomato & avocado, sandwich had no sauce. No vegan mayo or ‘cheese’ to pull it together.
I was thankful for the Frank’s Red Hot sauce.
The Home Fries were also dry, but reasonably salted.

Coffee, just ‘no.’ Not sure if it was the (only plant-based ‘milk’ option) almond milk, but it was sort of metallic tasting (possibly the sulphur water of the area?).

My gf (now eating eggs & fish), asked for RUNNY eggs — got dry. The marbled rye-pumpernickel bread was good.

Thanks for the attempt, but “that ain’t it kid, that ain’t it!”

Friendly atmosphere , vegan sausage sandwich is delicious.

Exceptional staff! With a couple of vegan options.

Pros: A few vegan options , Prices are fair, Service excellent
