Offers two vegan burger patties (impossible burger and veggie burger), either may be served with your choice of toppings, sauces, and optional vegan cheese. Or get your burger bun-less over a bed of greens. The regular buns are not vegan. Open Tue-Wed 11:30am-8:00pm, Thu-Sat 11:30am-9:00pm, Sun 11:30am-8:00pm.

Great vegetarian & vegan items

The Counter is a chain that offers many options for burgers, but also has other items likes shakes, a variety of fries, onion rings & salads. Recently, they added an impossible burger which is vegan & is a good attempt at having something that looks & tastes like meat - it tasted good. There is also a vegan patty burger option & also has eggless bread, though the bread breaks up quite easily, making it challenging to eat the burger. Therefore, I prefer getting it as a bowl. The range of toppings you can put on your sandwich is huge, with many items you would never purchase if making something at home, or find at other burger joints. The possibilities are essentially limitless so you can enjoy trying different combinations or keep your burger traditional and simple. Service can be slow & the wait long when they are busy. Get The Counter card to accumulate points for dining. The nutella & pretzel shake is great.

Pros: 2 vegetarian & vegan patties

Cons: mostly meat

Expensive and under staffed

Counter burgers have always been a bit pricey, but their vegan patties are additional with the Impossible being $4.

I have been here multiple times only to see the staff over worked. Outside seating usually only has 1 server for the whole area. Manager was rude on multiple occasions as well.

Food always takes a long time to come out even when the place isn’t busy. Not sure on this one, but has been consistent with them being busy or slow.

Pros: Lots of options

Cons: Pricey vegan options, Under staffed, Long food wait times

Very Vegan Friendly

Over the years the counter has definitely become a lot more vegan friendly. Not only do they have the veggie burger (which is ok), now they have the impossible burger. Get it medium rare (super weird right?) also a bunch of their sauces are now also vegan because they use the Just Mayo brand that we all love. Look on their site or just ask them which ones are vegan to be certain! Once they brought me a binder with their allergen info which was also super helpful.

Pros: Has become a lot more vegan friendly , Waiters are always very helpful
