Raspberry croissants - Edit
I am not sure if they still offer all the hearty pastries described on HappyCow because I did not see them, but I‘m still giving four stars because I might just have not found them. It was very crowded when we visited and I was in a bit of a rush to order. It was a very rainy day and the bakery was full to the brim.

The staff were friendly and calm despite the crowd of people trying to order.

Good pasties - Edit
Loved that they had 3 different veggie pasties - I went for the cauliflower and onion bhaji pasty, of course! It was good stuff. Keswick doesn't have much notable food but this place is a nice spot of something British, and not a chain, and tasty too.

Good warming lunch - Edit
Seemed like they had a good range of vegetarian items including having the cakes labelled as veggie. Only a couple of vegan pasties but they were both very tasty - a vegetable one, and a cauliflower curry one. Plant milks available for coffee. Would be good to have more vegan options including some vefab sweet treats. The staff were friendly, it's a nice bright venue too. Free WiFi. Card only.

Great food for hikers - Edit
Their cauliflower and onion bhaji pasty was just delicious. Perfect for fueling hiking. Little trick, visit after 5pm to pick up some end of day bargains eg 50p for the vegan croissant and £1.50 for the pasty.
