Yummy Khmer Food! - Edit
Went here for dinner, and was surprised by how easy it was to find (there’s a sign on the main street) and was happy with the choices of food and the quality of the food. Starters (fried veggie rolls and the sweet corn fritters) were delicious, and the curries we tried were also good.

All good except the plastic straws... - Edit
I really liked the foods, especially the vegan Amok but I felt bad when I saw them use unnecessary plastic straws... I hope they can change it to the reusable straws soon😄

Lovely! - Edit
I tried my first Amok here (a traditional Khmer curry that is usually with chicken or fish) and their vegetarian version was delicious. A lot of their dishes are served with black rice which was really nice. The staff was so friendly and it was really close to the Independent monument just tucked away down a side street.

Great place - Edit
Really good food here, almost everything is vegan on the menu as well! I had the banana tofu curry, and whilst I’m not entirely sure on whether I liked banana in a curry (personal preference I guess) or not, it was very tasty. Had the spring rolls as an entry as well, and they were good. Very decent filling.
Read moreIt is a bit pricey compared to other places, but food is cooked fresh, and the restaurant is in a lovely place. Staff are incredibly nice as well!

Delicious!! - Edit
I love eating black rice so I love going to the Corn. Their Char Kroeung is delicious and so is the banana coconut curry. I only wish they didn't offer to add meat to the dishes and were fully vegan as their food is truly delicious

Originele curries - Edit

Deserved 5 stars! - Edit
We couldn’t give 5 stars due to theHappyCow rating settings but it definitely deserved it. The Tom Yum was sensational, fresh spring rolls very tasty, (dipping sauce a highlight), and the banana and sweet potato curry also had exceptional flavours - all vegan. Very pleased we chose to eat here on our last night in Phnom Penh and would recommend highly!

5 stars - Edit
Really flavourful and delicious local food. We had the corn fritters, amok, and tofu and banana curry. Also had a cocktail each which were well made. More of a veg restaurant with meat options. The owners are very nice people as well. Would recommend.

delicious food - Edit
Definitely worth checking out! Food was super tasty, fresh and well balanced. Plenty of vegan options, almost entirely eg except for a couple fish options. The black rice is also delish and complimentary with your meal. I had fresh spring rolls and banana tofu curry and both were good.

flavourful and rich food - Edit
Very tasty and flavourful food, we loved it there. That is the difference between a vegatarian Restaurant, that also serves meat, and a common Restaurant that offers some vegetarian options. They really know how to get the best out of veggies.

Hmmmmm - Edit
Was excited to eat at Corn based on the reviews. I had the corn fritters and green curry both Very OK but perhaps a bit bland. The place is well set up and I had a lovely balcony seat. Maybe Monday is not the day to go. Lovely location though so worth another try.

The Corn has many vegan dishes, marked properly with a "V".The vegetarian amok is also vegan, they just forgot the mark.We had a delicious jackfruit coconut curry and a tofu banana coconut curry, both served with black rice. The rice portions could be a little bit bigger. The owners are very nice and helpful people!

The Corn :) - Edit
The Corn is literally next door to my hotel so I just had to try it out!
Read moreI ordered a lemon and mint shake and the Khmer Tom Yum which was accompanied with black rice. Both were excellent. The main dishes are all $5 and the starters range from between 2.50-3.50. Drinks are 2.50. It was very good value for money as everything tasted so fresh and lovingly prepared.
Next time I plan on getting the lentil fritters with the zuchinni salad... sounds delish!

Great Khmer & Western veg/vegan food/drinks - Edit
Excellent veg, vegan, & non-vegan options. Western & Khmer. The veggie spring rolls & amok are great. Tried a few different curries and each was excellent. Curries have chicken, or tofu/veggies options. If you're going to add a drink to your meal, this is the place to do it. The frozen drinks are amazing, especially in the midst of Phnom Penh heat. Some unique drinks like corn whiskey freeze, and I cant remember exactly what the other one was, but i think it had basil & pineapple, maybe ginger. Friendly staff, excellent service.

Best vegan dishes in Phnom Penh - Edit
I had dinner here with my husband. The place is NOT difficult to find, as there is a big sign right at the beginning of its street. The menu is 90% vegan, with the possibility of adding meat or fish. We are vegan, so we ordered the vegan dishes. We had both fresh and fried spring rolls: so good! The sauces were perfect too. Then, a red curry with black rice, very tasty, not too spicy, you can taste the freshness of the veggies. We tried the char kroeung, extremely delicate. I could taste every single ingredient, fresh, good, healthy. Finally, the homemade VEGAN crepe with VEGAN chocolate ice cream: yummy and very light. A great dinner, the best I had in Phnom Penh for sure. One of the best in South East Asia.

accommodating special requests - Edit
Randomly stumbled upon this so it's definitely findable! Great menu selection of salads and curries. I couldn't pick between three salads and asked if I could have a pick and mix of ingredients - the waiter/chef agreed and didn't even charge me extra! So I had a lovely orangey tofu lentil salad :P
Read moreMy partner had a curry and liked the the black rice that came with it. Said he "felt like an emperor" (as the menu explains, black rice used to be rare and eaten by emperors only).
Not as cheap as food in the rest of Cambodia but still easily affordable for a western tourist.

vegetarian - with non-vegetarian options - Edit
this restaurant falls into a category, which is rare and difficult to list and rate. it is a vegetarian restaurant, that offers non-vegetarian options. listing it as vegetarian friendly somehow doesn't do justice to the restaurant.
Read morein other words: if you you expect an entirely meat-free zone, this restaurant is not for you. if your focus is on trying good and creative vegetarian food in a quite and nice place, and don't mind if maybe not everybody in the restaurant observes a vegetarian diet: try it!
