Best desserts!

Desserts here are absolutely amazing! I was only in Seattle for a week and I managed to stop by here 3 times! Each time I got an ice cream sandwich. The ability to choose different ice cream flavors and cookies/brownies lets you get really creative with your ice cream sandwich options. My favorite combination was the double chocolate cookies with mint chip ice cream, but everything is so tasty, so you can’t go wrong.

Pros: Delicious, Friendly staff, Cute atmosphere

Fantastic offerings

The Cookie Counter is my go-to for baked goods in Seattle. I’ve never had a bad experience here! Their popsters are about the best thing ever, and I’m also a HUGE fan of their lavender ice cream and banana chocolate chip muffins in particular. I brought my omni family an assortment of cookies and other goodies during the holidays, and while they loved everything, they ended up fighting over who got to finish the cranberry chocolate chip scone haha! I don’t get to make it here too often, but when I do I’m never disappointed by the wonderfully sweet staff and variety of excellent desserts.

Mmmmm ice cream

So this place obviously has cookies and things, which are sweet and vegan. The best part of it though has to be the ice cream because it's so good! I've been here a couple times, and both times, the best part was the ice cream. They have great flavors like mint chocolate chip, but classic too, like strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. I love that you can get a scoop and split it, so it's like getting a half scoop of vanilla and chocolate, for a little extra cost, but because you know you want more than one flavor but you just came from dinner and can't eat two scoops and a waffle cone!

Oh, yes, they have waffle cones! You can add however many scoops you want to it! There's a gluten free waffle cone, too. Add as many scoops as you think you can handle! Make a milkshake. Oh, so good!

The cookies are ok, but, really, do you want cookies? You can get cookies anywhere! This is really about the smooth, creamy, vegan ice cream. So go. Order a waffle cone. Enjoy!

Pros: All vegan, Gluten free waffle cone, Vegan ice cream!

Cons: No gluten free cookies

The Best Desserts

The Cookie Counter is our Seattle go-to dessert option. Their ice cream and cookies are so good! They are known for their ice cream sandwiches. They have a menu with recommended combinations of ice cream flavors and cookies. Or you can make your own! The sandwiches are a lot to eat and very messy! But so worth it!
We usually get a pint to take home since we love their ice cream so much. Everything, including their ice cream and cookies, is made fresh every day in house.

My favorite place

I’m always amazed at how good the treats are here. My favorites are the peanut butter rice crispy treats, the peanut butter s’mores cookie, and the lemon matcha cookie. (That one goes well with a scoop of lemon ice cream.)

I’m so lucky to live near the Cookie Counter!

Pros: Best vegan treats ever, Best vegan ice cream

Cons: None!

Amazing Experience

Cant say enough positive things about this place. The staff was so so friendly and knowledgeable and offered to keep our pint in the freezer while we snacked. The ice cream was perfection. The cookies-lifechanging. They have a pay if forward board and you can buy vegan treats for others.

Pros: Friendly staff, Board games!, Clean bathroom

Best vegan treats in Seattle

Fantastic ice cream with two rotating flavors per month plus regular staples (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and mint chip). Their cookies are outstanding and they have a great sundae/ice cream sandwich menu if you want to try both at once. The owners and staff are delightful and the shop is adorable and very welcoming. Your non-vegan friends and family will love it too!

$5 sundaes on Thursday

Visit on a Thursday for the $5 sundae deal ($5.50 w/ tax) I had the s’mores (special) ice cream with cookie dough and hot fudge toppings. I wish the hot fudge was a little more hot and rich but other than that everything was delicious. The store itself is really cute and there was lots of baked goods as well. It’s definitely worth the trip to visit this store.

Best vegan ice cream in the Seattle area!

Lots of topping choices, and VEGAN WAFFLE CONES. OMG! Lots of vegan cookie options, vegan brownies, and the best vegan ice cream in the Seattle area. Also has a rotating new ice cream flavor... the current one (06/2018) is called "trail mix", with big chunks of oatmeal cookie, peanut butter, and chocolate flecks. They also have banana splits and vegan caramel sauce. AMAZING.

Pros: Lots of choices!

Cons: My stomach is too small to order one of everything

My favorite in Seattle!

You guys, this place! My all time favorite place in Seattle is definitely The Cookie Counter. They started as an ice cream truck in 2013 and eventually raised enough funds to open a store front in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood of Seattle. It's entirely vegan with plenty of gluten-free options. My favorite dish is the peanut butter sundae with a s'mores cookie, chocolate ice cream, peanut butter shell and a cherry on top. They have everything from brownies, pop-tarts, pies, cookies and at least five to seven different ice cream flavors. On the weekends, they make cinnamon rolls and waffles. They have plenty of games to play and also outdoor seating during the warm months.

If you're visiting Seattle, add this to the top of your list!

Pros: everything is delicious, gluten-free options, board games

A must visit place! Delicious sweets!

We visited for the first time last night and we were behind impressed. I got a waffle cone with strawberry and vanilla ice cream, and it was amazing! We also got a bunch of baked goods: brownie, frosted shortbread cookies, frosted sugar cookies, the hot chocolate cookie, that peanut butter crispy masterpiece, the PB s’mores cookie... everything was delicious! Being the first time we weren’t what to expect but we were way happy and will definitely be going back!

Pros: All Vegan, Vegan owned and operated

Cons: parking is scarce on greenwood Ave

Not having to worry about dairy at all is a huge plus. Super friendly staff and big portions. A little pricey but it's worth it.
