Seasonal place open from spring to fall. This year they close on September 28 and will reopen in the spring. The Cone has a couple of shaved Italian ice flavors for vegans. When we went they had blue raspberry or pineapple flavors. We got a small pineapple shaved ice in a cup and it was plenty for us to share. It was really tasty and so smooth and creamy. I thought it was going to be like a coarse ice snow cone but it was virtually indistinguishable from soft serve ice cream. Love the huge ice cream swirl on top of the building and the kitschy decor! The Cone also has a drive thru. Inside the building are some pinball machines and bathrooms. There are small coin operated rides and tables outside.
Update: Had Italian shaved ice from The Cone mobile ice cream truck and it was not the same Italian shaved ice that I got from The Cone brick and mortar. Still nice that they have an option for vegans on the mobile truck but know that you'll have a coarse snow cone.
