Comfortable pub and good food - Edit
Work trip to St Albans so looking for a vegan friendly eatery in walking distance of my hotel.
Read moreHad the butternut squash and roasted pepper salad and chips. Good sized portion and not too expensive. Very tasty and fresh.

Went here for a Christmas meal with work. Got two courses on the festive menu: Curried vegetable Wellington
Read more(Lightly spiced curried parsnip and butternut squash wrapped in puff pastry served with tenderstem broccoli & crispy parmentier potatoes) and apple pie and custard. There was one other vegan dessert option and two vegan starter options. Food was fairly good- comforting and filling but nothing special. The service was incredibly slow. It look more than an hour for the mains to come.

great Vegan Menu - Edit
Really nice country pub with beer garden. Went here as they had a vegan menu with starters, mains and desserts. The food was actually incredible and would go back their tomorrow!
