Birthday visit

Visit with my family to celebrate my birthday (after a fabulous steam train ride!)
Menu has good vegan options and we shared a selection of potatoes, beetroot, dahl dishes and fried rice. All very tasty with a bit of heat. Would return when we are next in Cheltenham, I believe there’s a branch in Oxford which we would try.

Pros: Different vegan dishes, Good atmosphere , Quick service

Would give 5* if I could!

Fantastic selection of vegan options! For a non vegan place they cater really well to a variety of diets. I'm not the best with spicy food so I wouldn't eat here regularly but it was really tasty.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Nice mocktails

Great value Tasty food

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. My 7 friends and I visited for a last minute dinner. The waiters were incredibly accommodating.

The style is laid back and upbeat. We received a great welcome and the good service continued throughout.

The menu was a pleasure to choose from. The vast variety of dishes Inc pumpkin (recommended)or beetroot curry were fantastic. Most were very coconut based with a mix of spices full of flavour. My meat eating friends were happy too.

The cocktails were incredible (in particular the cardamon infused espresso martini).

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, I would happily and return and I encourage others to visit.

Fantastic large vegan menu

Found this laid back Sri Lankan place whilst in the Cotswolds and I'm pleased we made the journey!

They've got a whole vegan and it's absolutely fantastic.
It all looked great so we ordered every vegan dish (about 12 I think..) and a hopper each.

All the dishes were all really good, but half of them were amazing. The dahl is one of the best I've ever had.

We took a doggy bag home and had it again the next night and it was just as good.

They also do really good cocktails.

It's a chain and growing which isn't surprising as it was busy at 7pm.

Please open in East London, you'd do really well out here!

Pros: Loads of vegan options , Fantastic flavours, Great cocktails

Cons: Chair stools aren't very comfy

Lots of vegan options, and amazing cocktails!

A great place to go with a group of friends for some cocktails and a good selection of tasty dishes to share. They have a really great “can’t decide” menu option, in which the waiter will surprise you with a selection of smaller dishes depending on your dietary preferences (vegan, veggie, meat etc.) I would highly recommend this option, as you get to try so many of their dishes! The cocktail selection is also fabulous 🙌🏻

The most veganic non-vegan place in town

TCT has always been a regular staple in our eating out options since we moved to the area 9 years ago. This year was my 50th and although we spent that in London we just had to make a visit on my Birth-week😄

There are as many vegan options on the menu as there are meat, seafood and dairy, which is great for the rest of my family.

The general idea is to pick a number of smaller dishes and the menu is chosen to be complementary so you can’t really go wrong.

If you’re not a big drinker then the mocktails are for you.

Both the hoppers (coconut milt pancake with a number of fillings) and the roti are divine.

The polenta mushrooms are NOT for sharing😄

The curries are flavoursome and well balanced. Fat sister is my favourite.

The kotthu was the only recent disappointment, they have recently added soya balls to the dish and there’s less roti in with it, but is also has a little bit more of a kick.

Pros: So many vegan options, Great atmosphere, super friendly, Small portions to try out new dishes

Excellent food, great vibe

The food here was delicious with lots of veggie and vegan options. Small plates give you an opportunity to sample lots of dishes and the cocktails were good too.
Reasonably priced. Would definitely return

so many flavours!

this was our first time at the coconut tree after many recommendations and we were not disappointed. there are so many vegan options to choose from that we couldn’t decide! they have an option on the menu called ‘can’t decide’ where the chefs pick a few dishes for you to try and it was perfect for us. the mango curry was so tasty (if a little spicy!) we also had the pumpkin curry, mushrooms, fried cabbage, carrots etc, a hopper each and roti which were also so delicious. so many flavours and so much food! we left very full and satisfied, we can’t wait to return to try more vegan goodness

Pros: lots of vegan options , lots of small dishes to try, nice atmosphere

Authentically Delicious

This restaurant has the best Sri Lankan food I've had since spending four months in Sri Lanka. Wow! We went twice in four days, and I'm tempted to sneak back there one more time before we head back to London.

Fantastic find!

Went here last night with a group of friends, fabulous atmosphere and food was absolutely amazing! We went for the ‘can’t decide’ vegan option where they choose a selection of dishes for you. The food just kept on coming and it was delicious! There was a great outside seating area too. Will definitely be going again :)

Pros: Lots of choice , Delicious , Lively atmosphere

AHHHH my favourite restaurant in cheltenham

WOW WO WOW. Where to begin. Honestly a vibeeeeyyy place to hang out, but delicious food and it's nearly vegan, in fact I think they've got rid of nearly all their red meat. Love that heart towards the planet. In the heart of the community, near School House Cafe the two are bossing the place for vegans in St Paul's. The food options are insane, like so so nice and as nice as the other food on the menu which is always a good sign. I'd recommend the dhal, the fat sister curry, the mushrooms and in fact anything vegan. Its delightful. Cocktails are divine and the atmosphere is not one to miss!!! Love you guys, keep going!!!

Pros: Brilliant vibes, delicious vegan options

Cons: More vegan pudding options

Pros: Loads of vegan options , Street art on the walls, Great vibe

Cons: Busy, Food doesn’t always come at same time, Not the cheapest if full price

Authentic street food

It’s been a while since I enjoyed eating here, but I love the food so much that it stands out in my memory. There are plenty of delicious options for vegans to choose from here and it has that ‘tapas’ vibe which gives you the chance to share with a friend (or go crazy on your own!) 💕🌱

Pros: Very tasty vegan food

Death by bliss!

I always read reviews & try n work out if I trust them. Please trust me. You won’t regret it. This restaurant and the food it is producing is hands down the Best food I’ve eaten as a vegan... simply superb! I’m still thinking about it 2 nights later... we had 12 dishes between 2 of us! And I wished I could’ve had more.. had to walk 30 mins to try n compensate! So full.. amazing value for money. Amazing friendly, super quick and attentive staff. Just not a single negative... waste no time and book up now. You’ll thank me! You’re welcome! I can’t give 5* Because it’s not fully vegan... but I would have 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌱
