Incredible chocolate and good vegan menu - Edit
Incredible waffle and hot chocolate which was much needed after a cold swim at the tidal pool.
Read moreIt's a much larger cafe than it looked from the outside, with lots of space to sit in. The vegan items are all clearly marked on the menu. Obviously the chocolate is the highlight and I think it is some of the best chocolate I have ever tried. Must visit if you are in the East Neuk.

Cosy, friendly and delicious - Edit
I loved the cosy and homely atmosphere. The hummus vegan options were delicious and the hazelnut hot chocolate was heavenly. Was a pleasure to meet Sophie and her dog. #Veganuary

Lovely cosy chocolate shop and cafe - Edit
Second time visiting here. Last time had the hummus sandwich and this time had the soup. Focaccia was lovely. The power went out when we were there because of Storm Arwen, which meant the staff put our candles - was a fun experience!

Couple each interesting savoury and sweet vegan options - Edit
I had to choose between bean soup and hoummus/ tapenade plate…it is nice to have a choice! The platter was very good. Didn’t try cakes but they sounded interesting.

So much chocolate... - Edit
We visited this fantastic café in January 2020 on a cycle trip. Not knowing what to expect for vegans we were delighted to see that they had a range of clearly marked chocolates suitable for vegans (seriously, the violet crème is AMAZING!) as well as in the café having a vegan croissant as a special and several options on their main menu too. Plant based milks also made for a beautiful hot chocolate. Perhaps the loveliest thing about the café is the staff however who were all super welcoming and friendly and very happy to give advice around their vegan offerings

Vegan crossiant and hot chocolate - Edit
Lush little coffee and chocolate shop. Vegan crossiant was a lovey surprise, I think it’s a special so not always on the menu.

Overpriced small hot chocolate of average quality - Edit
I came in for a drink. Opted for the vegan hot chocolate. There are medium and large options at 3.95/6.50. Small and medium would be more accurate descriptions. I had a medium and felt disappointed. It was ok quality wise. Or had better and for less.
Read moreQuite a few vegan options on the food menu, which I didn't have. But seemed reasonably priced.
Cons: Expensive hot chocolate

Lovely cosy atmosphere - Edit
The little café is a nice surprise, hidden behind a curtain in the Cocoa Tree Shop. There is always a fire roaring and the smell of cinnamon in the air. A big toy box keeps children entertained. The decor is enchanting and the magazines and books dotted around invite for lingering a bit longer. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I had the bean soup, which had grated cocoa bean in it, followed by a homemade soya milk hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is served with a cinnamon stick and a lump of chocolate and is so good, despite being rather pricey, I have returned numerous times for more.
