Under New Management

The Cock Inn and the nearby Bluebell Inn (Kirk Langley) were owned by the same people and both had a separate vegan section on the menu. Both menus had a good selection of vegan options for all courses.

The Cock Inn was sold last year and is now part of the RedCap chain. The menu has changed and the vegan choice is gone. On the new menu the sole main vegan option is a fake meat burger. On the current Bluebell menu there are 14 items including seven mains. In addition, there is at least one dessert though last year desserts were not always available. The Bluebell menu will be changing soon with the arrival of a new chef but we have been assured that the vegan choice will continue. Check the menu if you go there rather than the Cock Inn. We have no connection to the Bluebell other than as customers.

Really nice food

Been here once and it was amazing. The bread and dips were so good. I had the salad and Falfel and it was massive so nice

Great food, good service

A good choice of vegan options. We had the vegan mezze as a starter. The saag aloo pie with korma gravy was delicious!

Pros: Good choice of vegan options, Hearty portion sizes, Nice ambience

Cons: A little pricey

Separate vegan menu with some delicious options

Had a lovely burger here; there are more creative vegan options on the menu, I just fancied a burger! Staff were all great. There are a couple of restaurant areas and a charming pub area where you can eat from the same menu. Outside is very nice too.
