Nora’s kitchen - Edit
Monthly vegan option supper club from different parts of the world. Lovely chance to experience different cuisines.
Read moreWhen I first went it was wonderful and everything home made. Over the summer went twice and there was a general feel of a lot of pre bought items from supermarket. Just not the same as it was originally

Superb vegan roast - Edit
I’m so impressed with this place. The chef always puts on at least 5 vegan roast options and we had some lovely vegan desserts for afters. It’s a relaxed pub vibe atmosphere. Nothing fancy with decor etc but the food is great quality. We have become Sunday regulars!

Great Roast - Edit
I came here about a year ago for the first time. Massive portions and vegan cauli cheese made it a winner. This year they no longer do the cauliflower cheese and the portions seem to have slightly shrunk. No surprise at the minute I suppose. That being said it’s still one of the few places you can get a decent vegan roast in South Manchester. I also ordered a vegan version of the mango cheesecake, unfortunately for the same price of a cheesecake you just get a rectangle of mango sorbet. Should just be on the menu separately for cheaper I think. Still good though and loads of options. Great for omni groups.

Sunday roast - Edit
Surprising amount of choices for a Sunday roast for a veg option place. They even had vegan Yorkshire puddings!!! Polite and helpful staff plus very decent portion sizes.
Read moreI had one of the Wellington roasts and it was pleasantly sweet and not too heavy. The cauliflower cheese side dish was huge!
Pros: Plenty of vegan roasts to choose from, Rustic feel
Cons: Not many vegan puddings, Medium price range

Tasty Sunday Dinner - Edit
I've been here twice and the first time it was better than the second (Yorkshire pudding the second time was pretty pathetic!) The vegan meat alternatives are great and they have lots of options!

Not overly impressed - Edit
Loved that they had more than one vegan option for Sunday roast.
Read moreHowever service extremely slow. Kept running out of things but didn't actually come and tell us. Waited an hour for main, friend went to ask what was happening and it's only then when they told us they had ran out! Goodness how much longer we would have waited!!
Pros: Good amount of vegan options

The person serving was rude. *Update* Owner reached out. - Edit
My experience was poor due to the server being rude and approaching tables with apparent dislike for everyone. This negatively affected my experience as it wasn't a welcoming environment.
Read moreI have since been contacted by Nora's Kitchen with a kind message explaining what happened. At the time I was really dissapointed and now looking in retrospect, if the server had been nice, it would have been a pleasant experience.

Lovely! - Edit
The Vegan Sunday Roast from here was amazing! Was great to see 4-5 vegan options on the menu and they all sounded fab! They even do vegan Yorkshire puddings, the only disappointment was that the normal Yorkshire puddings are fairly bigger than the vegan ones yet we still only received one which didn’t seem fair but we’re still lovely! I tried the vegan Wellington and vegan haggis which were yummy, the entire meal was extremely flavourful and rich!
