Several veggie options

Mainly Thai food. Most meals can be made veggie by selecting tofu option (I also always specify no fish sauce if it’s a curry or noodles etc). The green and red curries were tasty but on the small and expensive size for what you get, especially as you also have to order rice separately. When asked about spice level, we said slightly spicy, and they both came out very spicy for us - so just be specific if you are not a fan of spice!

Local good food

It is a restaurant run by local people with thai food. Most of the food can be adopted to vegan. I mostly reccomend their smoothies

Many vegan options

Friendly owner. Great pad thai. They have coconut, oat, and almond milk options for coffee. No vegan labels on the menu but almost all dishes can be made with veggies and tofu. They know not to add fish sauce and shrimp etc to vegan food. Some desserts here are naturally vegan, for example - mango sticky rice, and boiled banana in coconut milk.

Pros: Owner is vegan-aware and friendly, Easy to communicate preferences , Easy to veganise most dishes

Cons: The pineapple rice sounded exciting but is bland

Mixed feelings

Came for lunch.

Had an iced latte w coconut milk - appreciate that they have coconut, almond, and oat milk (20 baht extra). They also asked if I wanted sugar (no) - appreciate being asked.

Had the green curry with steamed rice. They had a tofu option and understood, 'no fish sauce'. They also asked about chilli.

Unfortunately the portion size was tiny (especially for 170 baht!) and it didn't look green, as green curry should. There was a palmful of veggies and tofu floating in coconut milky curry - I can get much better green curry everywhere back home in my country.

Pros:
Good service
Covered al fresco seating area (to escape the sun's heat)

Cons:
Prices are fairly high - and this wasn't a western meal. Thai food is normally cheaper, even on islands.
Small portions
Weak sauces - needs more herbs and spices / less coconut milk.

Pros: Good service - they ask about sugar, chilli, etc., Covered outdoor seating

Cons: Expensive (Thai menu should def be cheaper), Small portions , Weak curry (too coco-milky)

Good Thai food and understanding

Nothing marked vegan on the menu but tofu as an option for all Thai dishes. They understand veganism and will make Som Tam etc without fish sauce.
Everything appeared Made from scratch although we’re missing a few things - probably down to low season.

Vegs only eat vegetables

We ordered 3 meals with tofu option (you have choice between different kind of meat, seafood or tofu) and 2 beers. After 45min waiting, the manager announced us that he doesn't have anymore tofu and proposed to cook only vegetables.
He apparently forgot to check his tofu stocks but didn't forget to make us pay 120B for the beers (bottles - 330ml) before seeing us leaving the restaurant.

Cons: Rude staff , Expensive

Great veganized thai food

Owners are very kind and have a positive approach to veganism. They cook everything fresh and can veganize almost everything. I really liked morning glory, tofu pad grapow, laab tofu and of course khao niaow mamuang.

One of the Best Options on Koh Mak

Has quite a diverse menu and the owner(s) have a very positive attitude towards veganism. Can change almost anything on the menu into a vegan option. We had the pad thai, morning glory, vegetable tempura, and papaya salad. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. Photos posted.

Pros: Great food, Excellent value, Right attitude

Good Thai food

We tried three different Thai dishes and all were very tasty! You can add tofu and make the dishes vegan. Not so much breakfast alternatives for vegans though.

Lots of options and owner open to veganism

The owner was very friendly and was happy to suggest dishes suitable for us, including coffees and smoothies made with coconut milk. Food was very tasty. Definitely Reccomended.
