Example of starters may be jackfruit wedges, mezze board, and buffalo cauliflower wings; mains of tikka masala, burger, cauliflower tacos, risotto, and mushroom pie; and desserts such as ice cream, doughnut pudding, and chocolate & cherry cheesecake. Note the food may vary slight by region, and that not all kitchens use separate fryers (ask). Open Mon-Fri 11:30-23:00, Sat 09:00-23:00, Sun 09:00-22:30.

Standard pub food

Good options for omnis but limited vegan options, vegan burger patty was nice but came with limited sides. Vegan nachos were okay but small portion size for the price.

Cons: Carvery so meat is on display , Food is basic

Proper vegan pub dining

Chains are always tricky to review - it’s hard to stand out offering the same menu and drinks as a thousand other places. Fortunately, the things that can differentiate are on par here. The staff are all friendly and knowledgable about their menu. I’ve had a couple of small mistakes in the past (like getting non vegan slaw with a burger) but they were quickly rectified and the staff took full responsibility.

Speaking of the food - you’ve got your moving mountains burger, chicken tikka, mushroom pie... all great choices and fitting to the venue which is nice and cosy. Desserts! Because who doesn’t like apple pie or a slice of chocolate torte (don’t go for the doughnut dessert though, it’s not that great). Prices are very reasonable and some meals, such as the burger, come in an XL variant for the hungry amongst you.

Great venue, great food, great service. Recommended!
