I thought there would be more vegan options but it's mainly for vegetarians. Also, the waiter didnt seem very educated on vegan restrictions... Very cute theming, not a terrible place, just like you can only get a beyond burger with no bun and chips lmao

Best Experience I’ve had so far in NYC - Edit
My mom and I did the potion making class, which seemed expensive until we factored in that you receive a drink when you start and you concoct 2 additional “potions”. 3 strong drinks plus the magically fun experience? Worth every penny. We were given a 20% off voucher for the restaurant at the end of the “class” so we decided to stay. I had the veg pie (a sort of vegan pot pie with coconut milk) with a side salad and my mom had a sweet and spicy tofu dish with book choy from their specials menu. Absolutely delicious. All of the employees we interacted with were friendly and helpful and always in character. Also helped that it was the least expensive meal we’ve had in NYC, even before the 20% off. I highly recommend the potions class (just mention you’re vegan, they remember), and the restaurant is a great way to soak up all the alcohol afterward with delicious food (or eat beforehand to preempt the effects of the alcohol!). Especially fun if you’re a Harry Potter fan. Best thing I did all winter break.
