Lovely vegan menu

We had little nibbles boards, mushroom risotto and a pie and everything was great. Outdoor tables in the sun were lovely 🌞

Lovely food after a lovely walk

Lovely pub, great food and good service. They even have a doggie menu and lots of doggie beds, bowels etc. The pub is set in beautiful countryside with several dog walks from the carpark. If in the area again we will definitely be back.

A Wonderful Evening & Excellent Food

Although a bit of a drive from our home, the vegan menu looked so enticing and we were not disappointed! The restaurant was very atmospheric and the service excellent although they were short of staff.

The food was imaginative and with a choice of at least three options for each course we thoroughly enjoyed our meal - the only problem was deciding what to choose.

Olives were placed on the table before we started and I selected a starter of Heritage Tomato, Mozzarisella & Basil salad, a main of Charred Aubergine, rice noodles, glazed Tofu & Thai Green Sauce and a desert of vegan Apricot Cheesecake followed by excellent coffee.

Altogether a very enjoyable evening at a reasonable price and a place I can definitely recommend.

How different to Mickey’s on Exmouth seafront where the vegan choice is vegeburger or risotto without the cheese!

Lovely spot, great food, warm friendly atmosphere

We’d been meaning to visit after hearing all the rave reviews and were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the Cadeleigh Arms certainly delivered in all fronts. A dedicated vegan menu with plenty of choice and a daily special. The pub is set in the heart of the village and there was a good mix of locals and visitors. All of the staff made us feel welcome and genuinely appeared happy to discuss the menu, ingredients and suppliers. We started out with cocktails on the sun deck overlooking the countryside watching the local bird life visiting the well stocked bird feeders. I went for the olives, focaccia and olive oil whilst my partner had the falafels to start. All I can say is a great start. We both plumped for the leek and mushroom pie (which was the special of the day) which came with roasted vegetables to share and a lovely little pot of gravy. The presentation would make a masterchef judge cry with joy. On to dessert. A wonderful take on the traditional cheesecake for me and a vegan cheeseboard for my wife (which I helped her out with). We are already planning our next trip! Did I mention they also do Sunday lunch?

Pros: Separate vegan menu and daily vegan specials , Great village setting, Friendly relaxed dining
