Lacklustre mexican - Edit
The owner is farang, friendly and if your desperate for vegan or veg Mexican they will accommodate your needs. It's a tiny bar area with a small amount of seats and little atmosphere. It's probably great if you want cocktails and are not picky about your tex mex.
I had nachos and chilli tacos, the chips and tacos were stale. The salsa was poor, the cheesy runny processed with no flavour and the guac also seemed to have no flavour. It was over run with peppers and onions but had little spice or flavour.
Honestly I won't come back as I love good quality mexican and for the price having stale chips and tacos with no kick or flavour twas not worth the price.
Pros: takes seriously to do veg and vegan options, quick service
Cons: food stale and not much flavour, not good vale for money, poor atmosphere

Our cheese is not processed, and cheese of good quality is hard to find in Thailand, it is probable the most expensive ingredient.
Our tacos are not stale but if you add cheese, which is not normal in a taco, then the corn chip will soften and give the impressing of being stale.
For someone that has traveled extensively and seems to have adopted the title of food critic, it might have been better to offer some advice rather than a damming report.

I've had a lot of burritos but Graham makes them so cheesy and all the ingredients are fresh and plump. the real sour cream and homemade salsa make such a big difference! friendly, happy staff. great healthy option for drunk food after the party ;)

We have been at the burrito hut and liked it very much!
Very friendly service and very good food.
We would return here whenever we are in Phangan again.
You can order Mexican food or Thaifood - if you don't know what to eat, the staff will help you out.
Tasty Cocktails are also served.
Quite to the beach.
When you are on Ko Phangan: visit it!

Best Vegan Food in Haad Rin before and after partying! :) - Edit
I was super happy when I found out that there is finally one more vegan option in Haad Rin on Koh Phangan! I tried the vegan Burrito and totally loved it! Amazing flavour, generous meal size and fair prices! Plus: Owner Graham is a legend and always up for a good chat! Customer service is perfect! I will be back for more food soon... ;) Peace! p.s. it made me so happy to see to see that Haad Rin started to slowly turn green thanks to pioneers like Graham! Peace!
