Vegan options but beware - Edit
The menu contained two vegan mains and one vegan pudding but no vegan starters (they may have come up with something on request but I don't generally eat starters so didn't ask). I had the Mediterranean Tart, which was lovely and which came with loads of sides, including green beans, Yorkshire pudding, braised cabbage, carrots and, unfortunately, cauliflower cheese that wasn't vegan, despite me seeking assurances that it was a vegan meal.
Read moreIt's s shame as that could have ruined my meal if I hadn't asked. Otherwise a very nice old time country pub where Midsomer Murders and the Vicar of Dibley were filmed
Pros: Great vibe, Friendly staff, Superb ska music playing in the background
Cons: My vegan meal had non-vegan cauliflower cheese, Only beers were draught which often aren't vegan

Vegan pub fare - Edit
I got a Mediterranean tart that was a lovely mix of roasted vegetables. My wife got a vegan roast which is the Mediterranean tartar with different sides.
Read moreThere were a couple of vegan options for dessert as well. Including a tantalizing sounding chocolate dessert with ice cream.
Pros: Awesome pub environment, Dog friendly
