Beautiful but bit boring brownie bar!

Brownie bar have extended their range of vegan brownies since my last visit, they now have raspberry, Oreo, biscoff and triple chocolate and they’re very reasonably priced at £2.50 each . The brownies are a bit sad looking in their little plastic bags when you compare them to their dairy counterparts which are festooned with different toppings and fillings. The brownies themselves taste great, but with so many vegan sweets, biscuits and chocolates on the market brownie bar could be a bit more creative with their offer.

Pros: Some vegan options , Oat milk offered , Reasonably priced

Cons: Vegan options feel like a step down

Time for a brownie

I had sampled an earlier brownie from here whilst at the quayside market, which was delicious, but the shop only ever had one option. That is until now where they now have a few flavours plus a vegan sandwich and jacket potato option. We ordered the orange and walnut brownies both heated up with an Americano and soya latte. The orange brownie was moist and flavoursome but the walnut brownie was a little dry, which was a shame. Staff were nice but options were a bit limited. Hopefully, the menu will expand over time.

Pros: Nice brownies, Friendly staff

Cons: Limited vegan options
