Amazing vegan pastries and sandwiches

I love this place. Had the most amazing enormous glazed cinnamon bun. Also, on a different visit, had a vegan fish finger and mushy pea toasted sandwich. They have very creative sandwich options, sometimes vegan croissants and pain chocolat. Every time is slightly different. All the food is vegan. The only non-vegan element is cows milk on offer for customers who want that. It’s got an informal arty vibe with community leaflets. Staff are always lovely. Also outside seating in the pedestrianised street is wonderful.

Grab a sandwich for the journey

Good sandwiches, soup, coffee and cakes. Nice place to sit outside on a sunny day or to grab a sandwich and get on the train, which is right next to it.

Have been here almost every day that I’ve been in London

Great coffee shop, great food, love the vibes interior and friendly staff. Not to mention that the food is delicious. Only thing not vegan is the eggs sold. Have loved making this place part of my daily routine!

95% Vegan, only milk for coffee and tea as dairy.

The sandwiches and cake were very tasty, good location. Friendly staff.

Pros: All of the food is vegan

Cons: Cake sometimes a little dry

Our Favourite Cafe In London

Great staff, great atmosphere, the best vegan sandwiches in London. I believe it's listed as Vegetarian purely because it offers dairy milk - all of the food and cakes/pastries only ever seem to be vegan, we love this place!

What a find!

This cafe is amazing, so many vegan choices for breakfast and lunch. Definitely try the almond croissant or any of the pastries. You won't be disappointed. The sandwiches are made to fill. Great variety and so much flavour. Fish finger sandwich is a must!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Great atmosphere , Cool merchandise too

Cons: None!

The best cafe in the world.

The staff is lovely, the place is very cosy for a quick pit stop to grab coffee - and perhaps a sandwich if you're hungry.

Pros: Vegan sandwiches and soup affordable , Occasionally pop up kitchens

Hatch Life!

They have big vegan pastries, the pain au chocolat is my fave. They also sell Dark Arts coffee which is awesome and a bunch of other beans like Girls who Grind. The people who work there are really lovely, plus it's a woman-owned business so even better, plus they do community events like street parties and film screenings. This place is my favourite in the area!

Pros: Vegan cakes and pastries , Great coffee, They've been a godsend during lockdown!

so nice

They have lots of vegan cakes and sandwiches! I've never had a meal there (i think they might only serve one thing, not sure) but they have a little fridge with some vegan stuff such as veganaise, smoked tofu etc. They also sell dry goods and fresh vegetables.
The place is light, cosy and hipstery looking in a nice way.

Pros: cakes, sandwiches, nice decor

Quirky little spot

It’s not huge, but it’s a cute little spot. Have been a few times for coffee and cake. All the cakes are vegan and gf which is great. Never eaten the brunch but it looked quite good last time I was there. Staff a little off hand though.

Pros: Vegan gf cake , Quirky little spot

Vegan and gf in south London!!!!

Okay! Seriously have just found gluten free vegan doughnuts in south east London!!!! They are amazzzzzzziiiiinnnnnngggg! At least 5 vegan cake choices at all times and all cakes are gluten free. This place is killer and directly across from Brockley station. I had two doughnuts for breakfast on Saturday and bought two more for home. They only have the doughnuts on Saturdays and Sunday's but the vegan blondie was excellent too.
They also have bonsoy! Hello soya latte.

Good to have nearby

It's not my favourite vegan cake/coffee place neither does it have the largest selection of wholefood shop items however it's a great place to have nearby. If you're passing definitely stop to see what they've got.
