Wonderful gem - Edit
I am so glad to have found this little gem during a short visit to Lawrence, and it is right across the street from The Oread hotel! You walk into a quaint university building, that honest to goodness has the best, peaceful vibes and are greeted by a genuinely kind and welcoming smile, then you are served wholesome, delicious and nutritious food to start your day. This is a true godsend in the land of nothing but eggs and bacon for breakfast. The Power Hash is incredible- sweet potatoes, quinoa, lentils, kale and beets. And - it's extremely affordable to boot! Wonderful find! I hope the good people of KU will support you and keep you going! Thanks!

This café is in fact the only vegan café in Lawrence. It's ideal for students at KU given its location and inexpensive prices. They have an impressive variety of choices such as biscuits & gravy, pineapple French toast, power hashes, burritos, sandwiches and other baked goods. Even have specialty vegan condiments like cashew queso.
It's delicious, innovative and progressive. We should be so thankful for their appearance !
