Paltry

The waitstaff said they'd been having a long day so there'd be a wait, but the wait wasn't at all egregious, just the quality of the food and limited options in a sea of meat and eggs. I had the breakfast hamburger, which seems to be a Beyond burger, maybe hence the markup, but I couldn't find anything particularly jentacular about it, just a normal vegan cheeseburger on a cheap sesame seed bun with gherkins, tomato, kropsla (I don't know the English word for kropsla but it's a kind of lettuce with rounded leaves), and mayo. My mate had avocado toast, which seemed to be made to a nice though undaring recipe with harissa and taugé, but it came out on untoasted, machine-sliced bread. Probably just a mistake but it didn't leave a good impression. We went the Albert Heijn afterwards and I got a falafel wrap to fill me up. Maybe there was supposed to be a side with the burger because it came on a big plate, but who knows. The other options were stuff like assorted fruit. Coffee is fine. Quite a cynical establishment really.

Okay

Half the menu is vegetarian but only three vegan options: a burger (i think beyond meat), avocado toast, and mango pumpkin soup. I had the burger which was fine. My companion had the eggs Benedict without meat and was unimpressed.

I think it is Beyond meat, because it leaves that familiar greasy feeling on your teeth.
