Serves meat, vegan options available. The house-made veggie burger and falafels as well as hummus, bread, salads and fries are vegan friendly. Reported closed December 2024.
wanted to try this place as it was the only place with vegan options open at the time we were in Jerome, upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly server, she was very helpful about finding a vegan option for me, after ordering we waited about 35 minutes for our 1 appetizer and then another 20 minutes our entrees came out. usually this does not bother me but there was only one other table that was eating in the whole restaurant and it was only 2 people at that table. after waiting i was still eager to try the food after all the good reviews. we got the no-meat balls which were very tasty but was told to get the tahini but was told it was going to be a $5 charge for a tiny little tablespoon of it which is absolutely ridiculous. my gf got a veggie burger and sweet potato fries which were really good but there was probably only 10 fries on the plate. I ordered what i thought was a roasted red pepper hummus plate off the appetizer section what turned out to be a giant salad with 4 pita chips, 2 tablespoons of regular hummus, and missing all the ingredients that it was supposed to come with and unripe, hard avacado, even though i was disappointed that it wasnt a hummus plate i decided to eat it anyway and give it a try since it was $15 but sadly after taking 2-3 bites there was a hair on my bowl. after that the server did apologize and took it off my bill but unfortunately after all these instances i would not come back here and not recomend especially if you are vegan
This is our go-to restaurant when omni friends come to visit because there's something for everyone. We have really enjoyed the hummus, falafels, and french fries! The service is always excellent too. It's a small place so seating is very limited but they seem to get customers in and out rather quickly.
Several items in the menu are vegan. We had hummus (pita bread isn't vegan fyi), big salad, fries, no-meatballs (aka falafels) and a veggie burger (sauce isn't vegan- so ask for it off or on the side if you're vegetarian- hubs liked it). If you like wine, Merkin Vineyard wines are local and are vegan. The Blanco is a nice smooth white wine. Our server was very kind and helpful letting us know what was and wasn't vegan on the menu and happy to make changes for us.
Called this place after the other two “veg options” restaurants were closed. The server is really helpful and has worked here a long time. She pointed me to all the vegan options. She substituted our non vegan sides for hummus.
Most of the salads are veg and can be made vegan. They have a house made vegan veggie burger, hummus, falafel.
Heads up - she told us the pita bread was not vegan.
Great atmosphere with a very comfortable dining room.
