无骨厨房 is the first Korean vegetarian restaurant in Singapore, opened here in July 2015. On the menu are a variety of beoseot, jeongol, and jjigae. Last order 8:30pm. Open Tue-Sun 12:00pm-9:00pm.

lousy - Edit

Poor food and service.

Ordered jajangmyun $12 and it was basically just noodles and potatoes - all carb - with some slivers of cucumber and two dime-sized bites of mushroom only! only gave one accompanying side dish of bean sprouts instead of usual spread at normal Korean restaurants. They said one order, so only get one side dish.

I asked for some chilli powder as needed to beef up taste and she came out with soya sauce and cut red chilli, Chinese style. When I said I had asked for chilli powder, she said they don't have! But later, waitress came back with some. (Good ambience though)

So went to this Korean place and basically didn't even get kimchi

Delicious Affordable Korean Food - Edit

The boneless kitchen is a vegetarian Korean restaurant that's almost entirely vegan. It's the only establishment I know of in Singapore that specializes in Korean vegan food! I've visited them twice now and I really enjoyed the meal both times.

They're conveniently located near Taiseng MRT on the circle line. Food here ends up being around $10-$15 per person depending on your appetite. Serving sizes are pretty generous so if you share you'll probably pay around $10 for a main dish and some side dishes.

The first time I was here I ordered the bibimbap because it seemed like a really healthy option. I didn't expect it to be THAT good. Oh but it was. The bibimbap arrived sizzling in a hot stone pot with seaweed, sesame, and a nice dollop of gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste) on top. I really love how crispy the rice got at the bottom! Overall this is one of my favourite dishes from The Boneless Kitchen.

Another highly recommended dish is the kimchi fried rice! It came with mock pieces of ham, fresh veggies and seaweed. The 'wok hei' flavour was quite prominent, a sign of an excellent fried rice! Wok Hei is a unique flavour that is created when stir-frying in a wok over very high heat. The kimchi stew with ramen noodles was really yummy too! It was served with tofu, enoki mushrooms, and other kinds of veggies.

Don't get the kimchi dumplings or pancakes... you can't really taste kimchi in them.

Overall I do recommend visiting The Boneless Kitchen not only because they're the only vegetarian Korean place here but also because of the really cozy environment (you can sit on the floor! on fruit cushions!), affordable prices, generous serving size and the fact that they've managed to create vegan versions of classic korean dishes without a heavy reliance on fake meats. Also they've clearly labelled on the menu what isn't vegan which is super convenient :-)

Pros: Non vegan dishes labelled, Cozy environment, Near mrt

Cons: Side dishes
