Employees know what dressing and veganism means. If you inform the staff that you are vegan the policy is to work extra hard to garenttee there wasn't cross contamination. Outside seating for all the shops. Two floors of outdoor seating. The bottom floor has an overhead heater and outdoor electric fire pit. Over looking Rock River and close to many local shops downtown. WiFi works outside by as well. at The Bodacious Family of Shops in Janesville

Second floor seating. There is three upstairs rooms. This is called the loft and the family friendly room is called Riverside. High chairs are available on all floors and restaurants. Rooms are available to rent out for large parties or events. at The Bodacious Family of Shops in Janesville

Love the tea! - Edit

We frequent The Bodacious Brew for the tea when we are in Janesville. The tea has never disappointed.
The food however, needs some serious work. They have extremely limited vegan options. They have one “entree” item (the vegan wrap) and almost always have a few pre packaged grab-and-go vegan cookies. That’s about it.
We have had the vegan wrap a few times now and it’s nothing special. There is nothing about it that would make me excited to order it again.
They also have a very confusing rewards program. We signed up when we first started going there, and none of the employees can seem to explain to us how it works. We have asked a few people and we can’t really get a straight answer. We recently made it to 200points and received 2 free drinks. It is a nice perk to have, I wish we knew how it worked.
This place has so much potential to be a really great spot if they’d consider doing some work to their menu.

Pros: Modern interior , Delicious tea , Rewards program

Cons: Only one vegan option , Usually cranky staff

Love this place - Edit

Beautiful place with awesome outdoor seating to watch the river and such. It’s an amazing place just wish there were more vegan options. There’s one item food-wise so pretty disappointing. But the food is amazing and the smoothies are great. Also wish they offered a vegan ice cream. Not much seating during the winter. There’s a heated area outside but still very very cold in winter.

Would love more vegan food options, but otherwise great! - Edit

All three shops have helpful, friendly staff. Obviously, there are vegan options at the salad counter, but you can also order a vegan breakfast bowl from the coffee counter! I would have loved more than just that one choice for a hot meal, as good as it was. There are also plenty of ways to order a vegan cup of coffee and you can take home some exciting olive oils/vinegars for your at-home cooking adventures.

Pros: Great atmosphere (includes river-front seating), Friendly staff, High-quality food

Cons: Smaller portions , Lack of hot vegan food options

Great coffee every time I've visited. Food options definitely need some work. I love that vegan food is offered but the portions are very small and definitely need some work.

Bodacoius Brew
Carries Almond, Soy, and coconut milk
Uses marked non dairy milk pitchers to prevent cross contamination. Staff is aware of what is and isn't vegan menu wise. The coffee and tea is high quality. They offer 24 different types of tea.
Breakfast is served from 7am-11am Monday-Friday 7am-1pm Saturday and 9am-3pm Sunday. Menu options vegan breakfast wrap and Bodacoius potatoes with add on(s). The kitchen reopens at 3pm till close. Appetizers only. House made fries tossed in white truffle oil and seasoning. Sub house made hummus for ranch. Nothing else is fried in the deep frier. Cross contamination is taken very seriously in the kitchen. More Gluten free and vegan options upon request
