Interesting vegan options from non-vegan outlet - Edit
We were impressed that the Boathouse had unusual dishes for vegans - they've clearly made an effort to offer some choice here. We tried the "meatball" pizza and jackfruit chimmi chungas. The "meatballs" had a slightly odd aniseed-ish flavour, but the pizza was excellent. The chimmi chungas had a good flavour and came with salad and fries.
Read moreSeveral cakes on the counter but only one was vegan - more choice of cakes would be nice. The one we had was good. Vegan latte etc also available.
Pros: Unusual vegan options, Right on the seafront - fab views, Inside and outdoor seating

A Few Vegan Options - Edit
Had the jackfruit chimichangas, not having had chimichangas for years since being vegan; it was very nice, the jackfruit was very prominent so if you don’t like jackfruit it’s not for you, and the salad was a tad lacklustre but in general it was a good meal. It was £13 though, so maybe one or two pounds overpriced.

Vegan ‘meat’ ball pizza - Edit
Ordered gluten free vegan pizza, with vegan ‘meat’ balls was delicious! Just what I needed after a morning paddle boarding! Lovely to sit out in the sun, listen to some live music. Lovely atmosphere. Great staff.

Has a range of options both savoury and sweet. I had the banana bread with peanut butter, seeds and syrup. Was a lovely location too!
