Cute pub, friendly staff, decent food - Edit
Very nice atmosphere, perfect for a stop between Christchurch and Timaru. Crispy tofu did have just sweet chilli sauce I steal of a sweet soy and sesame as advertised. Wish the vegan pizza had pineapple and olives!

Very Bland and beige - Edit
Ok so its pub grub and we got what we ordered… kind of. The Tofu was described on the menu as with a sweet soy glaze topped with sesame seeds and it was just plain deep fried tofu with sweet chilli sauce thrown on top. Really sad and disappointed but we ate it because we where hungry probably wouldn’t order food there again. It’s a cool place with good vibes tho.

Good option for lunch or dinner - Edit
The pizza can be made vegan on request and is a solid option. The tofu bowl is very delicious. They also have vegan friendly drinks such as alcohol free cider. The staff seems to be aware of a vegan diet and can recommend dishes that are suitable.
