Limited vegan choices but lovely place

We went for a family meal, I’m the only vegan so it wasn’t somewhere I’d choose based on limited vegan menu, however I had the roulade and it was excellent, would definitely return

Pros: Excellent food , Nice decor , Lovely staff

Cons: Limited range of vegan options

Gorgeous decor and tasty food

I had a sweet potato and red pepper roulade which was served with garlic potato’s and green veg and it was amazing, I didn’t want the plate to end. So flavourful and quite a large portion. Other vegan options on the menu as well. Will definitely visit again.

Pros: Lovely decor, Tasty food , Good service

Cons: Slightly pricey

They don't understand vegan

I went for mother's Day lunch with my mum, she told them when she booked that I was vegan, confirmed on Facebook and told them on arrival. I was told the soup wasn't vegan, was offered an alternative but then was served the non vegan one, it was replaced with the vegan one but it still came with butter for the bread. My nut roast main was served with non vegan mash (I asked after trying it), and cauliflower cheese.... I was offered roast potatoes but I'm not even sure those were vegan! So when my dessert was brought out I asked is it vegan and they had to go and check?!
Either ignorant or complete lack of what vegan means.
Compensation for ruining Mother's Day lunch... Free glass of coke

Cons: Lack of vegan knowledge , Average food

Worth a visit good clear vegan options

Pros: Options in a non vegan place

Cons: Would love it to be fully vegan
