Fantastic family pub with great grub

Friendly

Very friendly & welcoming with not too bad of a choice for vegans, the staff were more than accommodating & the food was good, we will definitely return one day 🙂

The best vegan pub grub

This place is the go to place for delicious vegan pub grub. I’ve been here several times and each time I have no complaints. The service is always fantastic, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is exceptional quality and such a fair price for the portion size.

Excellent vegan menu

Cute pub, lots of choices on the vegan menu and vegan options on the specials board - including desserts! Would deffo recommend! 🍽

Pleasantly surprised

The food was so good. Pleasantly surprised to drive past and see a sign boasting a vegan menu. Expectations were low and I was pleasantly surprised. Great prices for homecooked food with good portions sizes. Wish this was closer to home! I'm only visiting for a wedding.

Pros: Lots of vegan options and good portions, Scrumptious fat crispy real potato chips, Lasgana was yumm too

Cons: Given garlic tortila instead of garlic bread

Fantastic, clearly labelled vegan menu and tasty!!!

Seperate vegan menu. Lots of options, including five deserts. We had vegan lasagne, vegan burrito and hot brownie with ice cream. Big portions. Yummy. Very great for vegan peeps. Would definitely recommend. The brownie was amazing! :)

Fantastic vegan menu

Love that there is a full menu of vegan options. Had the tofish and chips, it was amazing! Huge portions too.

Pros: Loads of options., Desserts too., Live music on a Saturday night was a bonus!

Good find!

A bit hit and miss. My partner has sausages and mash which was great. I had the tofish and chips with mushy peas which was just okay. Pretty cool menu here, wish I got to try a few more things!

Amazing vegan food!

They are always very catering for vegans and have a varied separate vegan menu with starters mains and desserts.

Pros: Vegan Menu, Loaded Nachos Starter, In a nice area

Cons: Not fully vegan restaurant, They got rid of the polenta steak (best item)

Always great

My family and I have eaten here a number of times as there is a great range of vegetarian and vegan food on offer. The food is delicious and well presented. Its been a few months since our last visit so a return visit will be made soon.

Pros: Vegan menu, helpful and friendly staff

Cons: Parking isn't always easy (small car park)

Good variety of dishes

A wide range of vegan choices available!
Reasonably priced.
A couple of hit & miss experiences but generally good.
One of the main downfalls for me personally was that I did find on more than one occasion that the waitress was unknowingly quite rude.

Amazing home cooked food

Would love to give 5 stars but the app doesn't allow unless a fully veg menu. Its the best vegan food I've had out up to yet. I had Lasagne and brownie. Vegan garlic bread and the chips were yum. Plenty of choice

Pros: lots to go at and reasonably priced

Cons: No IPA or international beers

Vegan menu!

Just had a lovely lunch here.we devoured across the couny to find a traditional pub that would after for 3 veggies and a vegan. Portions were generous and food homemade and tasty. Definitely worth the time and miles.Highly recommend.

Excellent

Excellent pub food with full vegan menu available - 3 starters, 6 mains and 2 desserts. The choc brownie is to die for! Owner's daughter is vegan. Phone in advance for gluten free options (other special dietary requirements can be made available given some notice).
I have been a few times now and the owners respond well to constructive feedback about the vegan menu.

Pros: Full Vegan Menu, Lots of Choice for vegans, Delicious food.

Best vegan meal I've had eating out yet!

Separate vegan menu with great selection of traditional pub food. The vegan menu can be viewed on their website. The food was very delicious, I had lasagne and my boyfriend had a burrito. Very filling and good value for money.
