Old time veggie goodness - Edit
This spot reminds me of the veggie restaurants of the 80’s and 90’s. Great simple meals (soups, sandwiches, salads, even vegan ice cream), art, a small stage for events, really nice folks working there. Definitely recommend!

A great small town surprise - Edit
This place was great! Tasty food and friendly staff. They were a little busy as it was one of the first nice weekends this spring and also Mothers Day!
Read moreWe chose it because they had some outdoor seating and live music. They are an arts cafe so they have lots of local musicians performing during the week. We sat down and after looking at the menu I realized they are veg based. It was a nice surprise. We each had a sandwich. I got the chickpea 'egg salad' and husband ordered one with lots of veg and some vegan deli meat and cheez. The produce on our sandwiches was really tasty. The tomatoes were surprisingly fresh for the time of year. And they make all their breads in house. Breads were tasty! They were out of the pesto that day unfortunately. Filling portions. We did not get any desserts to go so I will go back and try something. They have canned beer and wines available too, not sure if those are all vegan though.
Please come check them out if you are in the Seattle area. Snoqualmie is a great day trip and this little place will make your heart sing! They are right across from the train depot so a good spot to grab a bite before or after your train ride, shopping or river venture.

Nice cafe with a plethora of vegan options. I can’t remember which sandwich I ordered but I enjoyed it. Would love to get out there to try out one of their hot items like the quesadilla.

Spectular - Edit
My mom and I had a relaxing lunch here and we absolutely loved it!!! Everything from the ambience to the service to the food was spectacular.
Read moreFirst of all, although this is technically a vegetarian restaurant, everything is vegan by default! The only nonvegan things are the options to sub dairy cheese in the sandwiches and dairy milk in drinks.
I had the Bang Bang sandwich and it was banging! The ingredients were so fresh and high-quality. I especially loved the vegan cheese they used.
The desserts were the star of the show. My mom and I tried the chocolate Bundt cake, the peanut butter banana cupcake, and the golden milk ice cream. The chocolate Bundt cake had a nice, rich bitterness that was perfectly complimented by the sweet vanilla icing. It was soft and moist; definitely not like a hard dense pre-packaged vegan cake you’d get at a grocery store. The cake in the cupcake had a super fluffy texture that combined with the delicious frosting was absolutely heavenly. I’m kind of picky about cupcakes since it can be hard to get the right balance of sweetness that doesn’t cause the icing to be too overpowering. In this cupcake, the balance was perfect and there was just the right ratio of cake to frosting. It was truly one of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. Finally, the golden milk ice cream tasted very authentic and full of flavor. It was clear that they used real golden milk and spices. And this is saying a lot since I’m Indian. I have noticed that other golden milk ice creams tend to be too sweet and bland, but this one definitely had a bold and strong flavor. Desserts of this caliber require serious artistry and thought; this place has definitely invested efforts into their treats and you absolutely cannot find such quality at a typical grocery store or bakery.
In addition to the wonderful food, the cozy and homely ambience plus the kind and upbeat service made this a perfect spot to have a relaxing meal. We definitely plan to come here again!

I loved The Black Dog art cafe - it was so cozy, the food was delish (the soup had me shook, and the bread was house made 🤤 ), and they have cute vegan stickers, magnets and other artsy things. I got the Peruvian sandwich with seasoned tofu. It exceeded my expectations for a small town cafe. I highly recommend this place!!

Fully Veg Now - Edit
This place is fully vegetarian and everything can be made vegan. We went on a hot day so the kitchen couldn’t do warm items. We got two sandwiches (BLT and Bang Bang) - both were delicious. We also tried a Cesar salad and s’mores cupcake. We will definitely be back.

Everything is so good! - Edit
They might be fully vegan now. My four year old loved the cheese quesadilla and I loved that I could order a half sandwich! We even ordered dessert just because we don’t usually have that option. He deemed the ice cream “crumbly but good”.

Amazing — would give 5 if I could - Edit
This place has a slew of vegan options, vegan specials, amazing vegan quiches and breakfast burritos and cookies, and several vegetarian options. There are a few meat options but most things use fake meats. The quality is top notch, especially for a small town café in a place like Snoqualmie. Our service was amazing, our server was very upbeat and seemed like she loved everything.

A cozy cafe! - Edit
Good vegetarian and vegan options, I was able to order for my children which can be a difficult feat. They have a vegan version of their “The Francisco de Goya Breakfast Burrito”, “Octavio Paz Vegan Chorizo Rancheros” order without eggs, “Aristotle’s Hummus Plate” make sure there is no feta, “Vaslav Nijinsky’s Vegan Brownies, “The Julie Andrews Peanut Butter and Jelly”, Beans and Rice. And the specials when I was there was: Vegan Broccoli and Cheddar Soup and Mock Tuna Sandwich. Worth coming by and the food is good. Great selection on drinks!

Fantastic vegan options! - Edit
Stopped in late on a Saturday night after playing in the snow all day. When we got there, the tables were all full. However, a nice couple seated at a large table offered to share. We instantly felt welcomed into the space. It so happened that a great band played that night.
Read moreThe vegan food is clearly labeled on the menu. The menu rotates regularly, I had delicious enchiladas and my mom had soyrizo and sweet potato tacos. The walnut brownie was nice and soft, the cookies are great, but my favorite was the strawberry rhubarb pie!
The pie was a good amount of sweetness with a nice soft crust. I’m sure it’s seasonal and depends on what the chef wants to make, as well.
My overall experience was great. The space is small, but when a good local band plays they will pack everyone in. I even saw some people sitting on the floor in front of the stage!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Art scene, Great service and company
Cons: Small space
