Hidden gem, with lots of small places to sit above the chickens and ducks walking around. Vegan and vegetarian options. They even offered and had tofu. Good Lao dishes for normal Lao prices, and really big portions
This place fully deserves its high google ratings. They don't only offer cheap dishes, they are also really accommodating in making dishes vegan. The staff speaks a little English and they are the nicest people. They even put Tofu in my curry without me asking. The yellow curry tasted amazing. On the menu it's called "Soup Curry Chicken Bread"
The portions were huge and they even offer more rice for free if you're still hungry. If you're vegan, this is the place to go to! Also the seating area is so cute and cozy.
We've stay near Kong lor cave for a couple days and tried a few restaurants. None of them have vegan options but mostly make them for you if you ask them to. However this place was the best for us ! The staff working was very nice and the owner speaks English so it was easy to communicate. The portion are huge and they offer more rice for free if you still hungry. And the flavours amazing , we asked for yellow curry and fried noodles (with vegetables). Apparently they have tofu sometimes but not in this occasion. Very recommended!
