Fantastic vegan breakfast, lunch and dinner options!

A beautiful traditional and old village pub with stone walls, beams, and an inglenook fireplace. Conveniently placed off the a303 and a36 too!

They brew thier own vegan beer and have a separate vegan/ veggie menu. While the prices are reasonable, the food is excellent quality and there is a diversity of options.

For breakfast, options include a vegan full English with a delicious beetroot burger, vegan pastries and great coffee. Dinner includes a yummy tart or bean stew and some dessert options that I've never seen vegan versions available before. Oh and they have a vegan/ veggie Sunday roast!

To top it all off, the owners and staff are genuinely lovely people who love animals (ask them about thier rescue dogs!).

Pros: Vegan/ veggie menu, Diversity of options, Reasonable price

Cons: None, they deserve 5 stars but hc doesn't let you

Delicious Tart!

Lovely lunch Saturday with family - had the Sweet Potato Tart served with chips, greens and gravy and it was just divine. I also nicked some of my partner’s crème brûlée - lovely, friendly staff in a traditional dog-friendly pub! Fab!

Pros: Easy vegan and veggie menu

Excellent extensive vegan and vegetarian menu

The atmosphere is nice, the staff are friendly, but the food and menu are great. So much choice it took us ages to pick.

Pros: Menu, Food, Atmosphere

Cons: No dislikes other than I wish it were closer

Would give 5 if allowed as they have separate vegan menu

Such a nice village pub; fireplace, friendly staff, proud of their menus. First vegan creme brulee we've had too! Also no tip automatically added which was refreshing - be sure to tip if you think deserved😄

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Delicious, Great service

Best non-vegan vegan food from a pub

What a lovely little pub this is in a beautiful village that's so easy to get to on your way West. They even have a menu for dogs (would love to see vegan dishes added on here too). It has the feel that it's a vegan only place there's so much choice. As far as it not being one I guess by having such a tasty menu they may plant the seed for others to try out vegan life.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although it's not a completely vegan pub, the vegan food is so good! They also host lots of vegan nights throughout the year which have always been so delicious! The staff are always so helpful, friendly and understand veganism. Very good value for money as well.

Pros: Lots of vegan options and vegan menu, Staff who understand veganism
