Incredible breakfast foods - Edit
Ever since the bees knees reopened as a coffee shop, my spouse and I have been going at least once a week. Almost all food is vegan and all can be made vegan. Great coffee selection as well!

Eh. - Edit
I went here on a date awhile ago. I ordered a tofu dish. When our food came, we started eating and because it was so dark I didn't notice it was chicken! I ate chicken. My date and the waitress acted uncaring about this. At that point I has been vegan for years and tasting meat made me sick. I haven't went back.

Yummy Food! Great Service - Many vegan/vegetarian options
Read moreThe food here was really delicious and the service was even better despite them being really busy! Even though it has a bar, it wasn't too loud. We ordered the tempeh wings, goat cheese bruschetta, Kimchi cheesy rice balls, handcut frieds eggrolls. For dessert we had their chocolate cheese cake and chocolate torte. Everything was delicioso! We also tried their sampler beers and they were soooo sooo good! We would definitely go back!
Pros: vegan options

I think they're the Bee's Knees - Edit
My boyfriend and I eat here occasionally. If you are looking for something downtown with a good atmosphere and friendly service I would recomend. I believe they also use locally grown produce! It can get a little pricy if you order a bunch of the tapas but theyre meant to be shared. They do have a great selection though where almost all can be made vegan. Would recommend the tofu yaki. I had this and I will say I'm not a huge fan of tofu but it was SO good. Also their hummus and their sweet potato fries are very good. Actually I don't think I've had a bad dish from the Bee's Knees. I also like that you can split the entrees for $2 more. (I think they still do this) This is a great option if you want to save money or if you and whoever you're with want the same thing.

They know how to make vegan food! - Edit
Love this place. Great food made to order, good drinks, nice staff. I normally get the Pad Thai, ask them to make it vegan and with tofu. You won't be disappointed!

Many Vegetarian Options - Edit
This is one of the first and the longest-lasting veg-friendly restaurants in downtown Augusta. Cool staff. Some of my favorite vegan options include the sweet potato hummus and the sesame leaf rolls. Great beer and wine list too, even better beer list at its sister bar "Hive" next door.

Disappointed again - Edit
Ate here a year ago without distinction and gave it another go this. Had the guacamole small plate to share. Small portion and it had a funky aftertaste. Wife ordered Coconut Curry with Tofu and I ordered the Yaki Stir Fry with Tofu. She said hers was pretty bland. Mine had a decent flavor....but both of them lacked any presentation quality. A blob of rice in a bowl with something hap-hazardly flopped either to one side or kind of in the middle. Disappointing for the price. We both agreed never to return.

Cons: Very noisy, Pricey for what you get

They put more time and effort into creating non-vegan dishes than the vegan dishes. It's as if they carry vegan options just to lure us in but then don't really care about the quality of the food. It's also very expensive for what you're getting. Their vegan brunch options are better than the dinner ones.

Bee's Knees - Edit
Website makes it seem like they have a lot more vegan options than they actually do. The ones they do have are outstanding. If you go to brunch, you can get a tofu scramble either as just a dish or in a burrito. Both are superb. I'm very picky about my tofu scramble and usually don't like anyone other than my own.

You get what you pay for here - Edit
It may seem a bit pricey, but the food is absolutely WONDERFUL! The Korean Knappa Rolls are my personal favorite, but there are other yummy vegan options. If you get the hummus, don't forget to let them know if you are vegan (they will give you veggies instead to dip in it).

Fun - Edit
The food is good, but overpriced for the small portion size. You can order 3 or 4 tapas between 2 people and still be hungry. Some of the vegan options are excellent and imaginative, and some are boring and bland.

Love It, Love It, Love It - Edit
This restaurant is one of the very few who offers a plethora of vegetarian items. Still, if it's made with shrimp, chicken, etc, they'll substitute tofu. (Very substitution friendly, actually.)
Read moreThe only downside--they only open for dinner now. :-(
Pros: vegan & vegetarian options, even have vegetarian soups, good value
Cons: only open at dinner
