A bit impersonal, but at least there were two vegan mains options available, oat, almond and soya milk and two kinds of unfortunately very disappointing, luckwarm, fruit crumble. The mains, however, were delicious: superfood salad and sweet potato bahjis with a lovely sauce. Coffee was too weak.

Fresh, tasty and the nicest staff - Edit
I've eaten here a few times now as options in Achill are very limited. The staff are super nice and very helpful. There's one vegan dish on the menu which is Sweet Potato Bhaijis in a curry sauce. This is really tasty. They also do a delicious Superfood Salad which can be made vegan on request - the regular dressing contains dairy, but they can leave it off. Both dishes, while fresh and tasty, are not particularly filling. It would be nice if they were served with a side of rice/bread or something to make them more substantial. At €15/€16 each, I think that's a fair ask! These options have not changed in years. While they are nice, a bit more variety would be great.
Read moreThere are 2 soups on menu which are dairy and gluten free, but I didn't ask about the stock. Dessert options available too and the coffee is very good with several plant milk options.
This place is very busy so be prepared to queue, especially when the weather is not good enough to sit outdoors.
All in all it's a good place and all staff are very nice and welcoming

Had the luck of visitingAchill on a very summery and sunny day and had a meal Al fresco in this beautiful restaurant/boutique shop. Some of the young staff were not very knowledgeable on the vegan items but luckily when they asked someone more senior I then well looked after 🙏🏻

Spacious interior. Lovely views over the sea. Outside seating also available. Vegan options today - tomato soup, vegetable soup, superfood salad, bhajis, berry crumble, rhubarb crumble. We had Tom soup, bhahi, salad and berry crumble to share. It was all delicious. The only criticism was that we felt the mains (bhaji and salad) should have included some cheap starch (rice, bread, potato) for the price as they weren’t filling enough which is why we ended up with coffee and pudding (which wasn’t the plan)!

Beautiful food and a stunning view - Edit
The food is very good, soups were all vegan and they had two vegan mains, Baghi and a super salad, both starters and mains were amazing. They also have oat milk for your coffee. The staff are very friendly. You can eat your lunch looking out over one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. This is the way to live.
