The Spot - Edit
Very famous cafe in town where students gather for an English corner every Sunday I believe. One of the two owners is a lab environmentally conscious university teacher and loves to talk to guests. He took notes on our requests to bring back mugs and reduce plastic, which they had before the virus and then switched to single use due to the pandemic. I also requested vegan food options. So far, they only offer plant milk, but given my pitch on sustainability, 1/3 of millennials being vegan, and the huge market for it, plus how meat eaters don’t care if it is or isn’t vegan- so long as it looks and tastes good so why not make all things vegan anyways,he said he would bring it up to his partner. The place is often packed and there are heat lamps outside.
