Being a local of this area sadly be aware that not only the wide bay but the whole of Queensland is carnivorous and the mindset here is decades if not more behind todays reality there are not only no eateries worth mentioning in Hervey Bay but pretty much the whole of queensland eg Rockhampton the BEEF capital of Australia the word vegan is not in the dictionary there nor is vegetarian there may be few souls there but you really need to bring your own to this state
