Bayside - the Chinese restaurant - Edit
Walking in, you get the vibe of a Chinese restaurant but that’s not totally the case! We had it catered to the great hall a couple blocks away for a comedy show. Delicious foods and plenty of options

Didn't live up to the hype. - Edit
Felt like my steak sandwich was missing something. And it wasn't overcooked steak because that was there. Realized after I ate 3/4 of it there were zero onions. Perhaps the cook thought the sprouts were onions??
Read moreCurly fries weren't hot or crispy. Overall, would consider giving them another try but only because of limited options in Everett.

Yummy good food - Edit
We’ve been in Everett for the past couple weeks and have picked up takeout from the Bayside Café on several occasions. We really liked the yo egg burger and the burrito is enough for two people. We will definitely be going back.

Yummy lunch! - Edit
We met with friends for lunch and all agreed we’d return one day! Bacun Swiss Chikun for two of us, fysh sandwich for other two, and a pile of French fried mushrooms for all. Most excellent and filling! We liked the friendly service, funky decor, and booth seating as well.

Just what I needed! - Edit
This place did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly and had great recommendations. The food was out of this world good! I got the friend pickle chips, delicious! And the ghost chicken sandwich, also extremely tasty!! Ordered a slice of pistachio orange cake for later and got a giant piece! I’m not from here but I will be back when the opportunity arises!

10/10, 100 gold stars, and the kick of a leprechauns heels is what I'd rate this place. I've tried just about everything here. It ALL warms the heart, soul, and tummy. Bring your kids, parents, your stupid in-laws, heck, bring the whole extended family. This place 100% has something for everyone.

My favorite restaurant in Seattle - Edit
Exactly my kind of restaurant, The Bayside Cafe is in an old Chinese restaurant and the decor shows that what really matters to them is the service and the food, both of which were incredible.

Best vegan restaurant in the Seattle area - Edit
This is one of my favorite restaurants ever. The food is absolutely amazing - the chickn sandwiches are made in house and are so crispy and good. They also have the best vegan nacho cheese and deep fried pickles. On top of the food, the atmosphere is spunky, with vegan decor and publication/information. A gem for the vegan community!!!

Best vegan American comfort food - Edit
I love the burgers and breakfast sandwiches here. The apps and sides are really good too, mostly the pretzel bites and their fries. I've never had anything bad here from all the things I've tried. The prices are kinda steep, but the portions are big, and I always leave bursting at the seams. The decor and seating area is a bit old and was definitely a chinese restaurant in a past life but it gets the job done and it doesn't bother me. The staff are very friendly too. Overall, one of my favorite fully vegan spots

Vegan options in Everett - Edit
Went for a dinner. Look like an old Chinese restaurant. Had the hamburger sandwiches and hot wings. My girlfriend liked it a lot because she likes meat tasting things. I'm a little more on the not tasting like meat train. Regardless, hamburger sandwiches were good, the hot wings were great. The hot wings are the good wheat gluten ones with the bamboo stick in the middle. Delicious.

Excellent burgers, but with caveats - Edit
I want to preface this review by saying that I will definitely return because the burger was absolutely delicious, and I will support fully vegan restaurants anytime I can. I also live relatively close by.However, the prices are exorbitant, and the decor is really sad - a depressing, dark, windowless interior that apparently used to be a Chinese restaurant. I ordered the western burger which had onion rings and bbq sauce. It was one of the best vegan burgers I have had! But it was $17…yikes! My sister ordered the classic burger ($13), and she loved hers also. The fries were crispy and properly seasoned. I tried ordering a craft beer but they had nothing on tap due to a very busy weekend (we went on a Monday afternoon). So we ordered mimosas. Unfortunately, they were bland and tasted like they were made from reconstituted orange juice and a very small amount of cheap champagne. Won’t order those again. They were also priced at $10.50 each on the menu, but we were charged $12 each. The $4 brewed coffee was absolutely terrible and tasted like it had been sitting on a burner for hours. I inexplicably broke my rule of never ordering coffee at a restaurant. I should’ve stuck to my rule. The menu has many intriguing items on it, and I want to try several other items. With tax and tip, the total came to $75 which is really high for a burger place. but there is no denying that it was a delicious burger, and I will be back. But next time it will be a burger and a beer.

Quirky spot with good junk food - Edit
Great service, super friendly. Good junk food. We had the fried pickles to start and a burger and bratwurst for mains. It was a Thursday eve and there was live music. I recommend adding the bacun to you burger!

Premium vegan junk food! - Edit
Ooooooh man. Bayside’s breakfast burrito is out of this world good. Is it greasy? Sure. Something I’d eat every day? Not likely. However, it is the perfect addition to any road trip / impromptu stop in Everett! I also love the curly fries, the friendly staff, and the funky Chinese-restaurant-turned-vegan-cafe vibe. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping for a junky good time!
