Great food, fantastic experience

We went here for dinner and it was a fantastic experience. The food was great, I especially recommend the vegetarian stew. Great atmosphere and service. Will be returning!

Great experience!

The menu mainly consists of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Persian dishes, i.a., mezze, but it also offers pasta and burgers with fries. There are many vegan options and the vegetarian options can easily be veganised! These are indicated on the menu. However, the restaurant also serves various sorts of meat.

Wholesome food

Large falafels and tasty hummous.
A few other nice items on the menu.
Good place for food or just sitting with a cup of tea.

Good, hearty English breakfast

I was very happy to find a vegan variety of the English breakfast here. Beans, mushrooms, tomato and falafel. Definitely recommended alternative to a likely boring hotel breakfast.

Veg friendly with Lebanese specials

This has a good vegetarian and vegan breakfast range, and delicious Lebanese minto (squeezed lemon juice and fresh mint). I was a little disappointed at the amount of non vegetarian items on the menu (it serves lamb, chicken, beef and fish).

The evening menu has aubergine bake, samosas, vegetarian lasagne, stew and felafel's http://baytreecafe.com/index.php/Vegetarian-Dishes.html

The cafe is a relaxed place to sit and watch the world go by, is nicely decorated and the staff are very friendly.

Pros: vegan breakfast, fresh Lebanese drinks

Cons: meat on the menu
