Thai food in The Basement - Edit
I loved they had a separate vegan menu! Portion sizes were good if a little too big. If you’re not very hungry I think you can share a curry and a bowl of rice. Perhaps add 2 appetizers and you’re done. We had the green curry, yellow curry, deep fried tofu appetizer, battered veg appetizer, chips, jasmine and coconut rice. Pineapple juice tasted fresh. It all was good and quick, friendly service, we were very happy with our decision to come here. I’ve uploaded the photo’s.

Plenty of vegan options - Edit
I gave this restaurant a call before visiting to see if they had any vegan options and they were very helpful, explaining that most of their vegetarian dishes were suitable for vegans too. Between us, my husband and I (both vegans) had deep fried tofu, sweetcorn cakes, Penang curry, vegetable stir fry and chips. All were delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be returning.

Very tasty, lots of choice - Edit
Everything is really clearly labelled with allergens. Almost all the veg options are vegan, except a couple of noodle dishes with egg. We shared some starters. I loved the veg parcels with sweet chilli sauce. The peanut sauce with the BBQ tofu was good but I overall wasn't blown away by this dish. The massaman curry with mock lamb was delicious. It was quite spicy for me but not too spicy. Defo recommend.

Lovely small restaurant in the centre of town with delicious vegan options.
Read moreI would make note of the prices and double check the receipt as we have been overcharged a few times (they have always been happy to resolve any issues)
Pros: Fairly priced
Cons: Vegan options not clear on menu

Super delicious Thai food! - Edit
My husband and I discovered this place in August 2018 whilst staying in Derbyshire for our one year anniversary. It was recommended by the owners of the Airbnb we were staying at, so I had a look at the menu to see how vegan friendly it looks, and the veggie menu looks really promising so I gave them a call to check if they could cater and they could. We asked the waitress what items didn’t have egg or diary in it, and I remember that the crispy aubergine dish has egg in it but most other things were vegan friendly. The food was AMAZING! It was so delicious we couldn’t decide what we liked best. From memory we had the mushroom and cashew nut dish, the sweet and sour tofu and the Thai green curry with jasmine rice and all of it was perfect. We will definitely be making an excuse to visit again!! I made the request to add it to happy cow because there doesn’t look to be much in the area, so we were really delighted to find this little gem! Would give it 5 stars if happy cow would allow.

Cons: Menu doesn’t say what is vegan so you have to ask
