Great Coffee Shop - Edit
The Barn is a rustic, comfortable and cozy coffee shop located in Mahone Bay. The decor is much aligned with the name of the business, wooden walls, old license plates and lots of rural touches. They also sell gorgeous local pottery that adds a nice small town vibe.
Read moreThey offer plant based milk options with a wide variety of drink options and also have a vegan energy ball. The day I was in they also had fresh baked pumpkin spice donuts that were gluten free and vegan that were so delicious!
This is definitely one of my favourite spots in Mahone Bay.

Great Atmosphere, friendly staff - Edit
Lovely place to stop for a coffee. Didn’t see any vegan snack options, but I think they usually have them. There’s a little coffee cart outside, and then a full cafe with seating inside. Great spot to stop by!

Beautiful spot! - Edit
I really enjoy coming to the barn with friends. It’s a beautiful building, the staff are lovely and it has a great atmosphere that feels very “Nova Scotian”. Dairy alternatives and lots of yummy drink options. Not many vegan food options I believe.
