Lunch - new review - Edit
Review updated after a second visit - the cafe is under new ownership and the options are so much better! Instead of a dry baguette as the only option you can now choose from garlic mushrooms and avo on toast, vegan cheese and beans or 5 bean chilli in a jacket potato. You could get a brownie or hot sticky toffee pudding and ice cream and plant milks! A huge improvement - I hope the new owners do well!!

I used to love this cafe. However after visiting today it was clear the cafe is now under new owners. We arrived at 12.18 and waited twenty minutes to be given a menu. We ordered lunch, a siet coke and tea for two. My parents got a a pot of tea and 1 mug between them. My food arrived stone cold after waiting until 1pm for it. It was taken away and a new meal issued. Again barely lukewarm, and the garlic mushrooms which were a main ingredient, we're now completely missing very disappointed and let down. Could hardly be bothered to wait again. By this point my parents had finished their food and this was an hour later. No apology was made and neither was any compensation. I was disgusted. Sat around waiting for sub par food for up to an hour and even they can't get it right. The prices are also now way over the top as well. For example , £10.95 for a jacket potato??? Get real. The old owners were lovely. Great food, friendly, attentive, complimentary water offered, nothing to much trouble. These guys can't be bothered! Also when trying a order a cappuccino, they can't so this as they are a cafe with no coffee machine????? Ridiculous. Other people were coming in and also giving up after sitting down and not being greeted either. So sad

Couple of options, not bad for a small place! - Edit
Visited here for the shopping village. Popped into the other tea room on site. Was told that they had vegan cake but they did not!
Read moreWent over to the Barn Cafe and found they had 2 vegan specials. Which was good for a small cafe!
Options were a Breakfast or a baguette. Went for the breakfast, nice enough for the price. Came with vegan sausage and bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast and a potato cake.
