Disappointed

Such a disappointment. The I went for the vegan New Yorker. The menu, described it as being pastrami, smoked cheese, American mustard & gherkins. I sat at my table and I open the container (served in takeaway boxes), to a sad looking bagel with quorn ham, a square of plain vegan cheese, lots of American mustard & gherkins. The quorn ham was just awful, not a fan of quorn away, but there is some incredible meat subs including an excellent pastrami, and they used quorn, & a plain vegan cheese, when there are so many good options now! Bagel was mega dry and just crumbled. Definitely would not go back. Guy on the till was nice and friendly though.

Vegan bagels, no vegan pastry

There are three bagels that can be veganised. We had the New Yorker with vegan pastrami and the avo halloumi with vegan halloumi. To my boyfriend's big disappointment no vegan dessert :(

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good coffee with oat milk

We had a flat white and latte, which were very good. The Bagel BLT vegan was okay, I would not recommend it but they so much more to offer that I still think they are worth 4 stars!

Pros: Vegan option, Nice staff

Great selection and service

Their menu is laid out in such a way that it shows which bagels can be made Vegan. If they don't have a certain ingredient they will do their best to offer suggestions or alternatives.

Seating area outside is nice too, good place to escape the heat and the gulls!

Pros: Lots of options, Great service

Lots of exciting & tasty vegan options

Really struggled to choose which bagel to have. Vegan options includes a new yorker style bagel, blt, and mushroom madness one. I had the mushroom which had truffle mayo and vegan cheeseand was deliciously saucey. Did have to have a plain bagel though - would be nice to have more interesting vegan option. Bagel and flat white with oat came to around £10. We sat inside in a very nice interior.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Very tasty, Cool atmosphere

Cons: Ate inside but given disposabl takeaway containers, Only given plain bagel as vegan option

Fabulous Bagels

Tucked away down a lane is this great bagel shop.
Able to adapt quite a few of their bagels for you and friendly enough to let you choose own fillings.
Perfect for take out or sit in their courtyard…New Yorker and Fun Guy are very tasty. Lovely coffee too

Great news they have moved into new premises…literally opposite the courtyard…lovely space and you can now enjoy your bagel sitting indoors when it gets chilly… 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Delicious!

We had the ‘fun guy’ vegan version which was delicious with creamy mushrooms, rocket, vegan cheese and vegan ham in a poppy seed bagel. Would highly recommend this small but great bagel shop. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating and nice coffee too!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious , Friendly staff
