Read moreMy complaint was when opting for oat milk they gave me a biscuit with dairy. My friend then said she was vegan and asked for without the custard cream, and she still got the biscuit :s. If you’re vegan be double sure to ask ‘without the biscuit!’

Lovely cosy venue - Edit
Went there for my birthday lunch. Savoury vegan options are limited although they do have vegan cheese. Vegetarians would be happy though as more choice. The cakes however are another matter. There's a whole cabinet full of them! I had lemon & blueberry cake & my non vegan sisrer had banana & walnut cake. It's quaint with odd crockery & generous portions.

There are a couple of outright vegan items on the menu, and since they will substitute vegan cheese this means the range of available dishes is ok. I had a vegan cheese and tomato chutney toastie, very nice with good hearty bread and a dressed salad. The coffe's good and yes, there are vegan cakes. My scone was very nice. I'll go there again.

Lovely little place, such cute decor and lovely cakes, I had the chocolate cake which was delicious. Wish they was more sandwich options etc though.
