A beautiful gem - Edit
A very warm welcoming space, the coffee and food were delicious. I had the vegan breakfast wrap and I can not fault it, the home made ketchup was to die for. I also had the vegan rice crispy square which was delicious. This place also have a very nice little art shop. 10/10

Easy - Edit
The staff is much more knowledgeable than shown in the old reviews. I’ve never had an issue!
Read moreThey have at LEAST 1 vegan soup on every day, and you can request it with vegan GF cornbread that’s made in house. The pesto pasta salad and the vegan brunch wrap are also good. Easy to stop in for lunch and pick up something to go. Atmosphere is also quite nice if you choose to stay.
Sometimes the pickings are slim if you come later on a busier day

Cozy Cafe - Edit
Very cozy local cafe. Select vegetarian and vegan options. The tofu bowl and pesto pasta salad are my favorite! Depending on the time of day selection may be scarce. Make sure to stop in when in town.

Vegan Brunch Wrap experience - Edit
It is a learning experience for a new vegan. Finding out that vegan is pronounced “veegan “ not “vaygan “ is critical to getting what you desire in a restaurant serving vegan, veggie & meat dishes. I ordered a “vaygan “ wrap and discovered that I had received a “bacon” wrap! The staff of The Art We Are were nice enough to exchange wraps ... and it was worth the confusion! Not only is the Vegan wrap tasty, but I now have a good story to tell.

Great lunch spot - Edit
All the food is pre-made. There was a selection of vegan wraps, salads and desserts. Food was clearly labelled as vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten free.
Read moreI had the vegan breakfast wrap. It was filling and tasty. I also had the vegan rice crispy treat with sprinkles on top. It was amazing!! Crispy yet chewy.
The cafe was spacious with beautiful art on the walls, and a small shop with handmade soaps, aprons, jewellery, etc. There was also a small patio.

We had lunch here and it was delicious &Vegan hot chocolate with coconut whip ❤️ - Edit
Definitely visit this place. I had vegan, gluten free African peanut stew, my son had gluten free grilled cheese and his girlfriend had vegan, gluten free Greek lentil soup. We also had vegan hot chocolate with coconut whip cream and a vegan, gluten free cookie. Anytime I can have a great vegan and gluten free lunch it’s a win.

This place is so adorable. Limited food options from what I can remember but the food I had was delicious. Love their loose leaf tea options.

More difficult than it should have been. - Edit
I found the process of ordering to be rather tedious and more difficult than expected. Although items were clearly marked as vegan, veggie, GF etc, on the displays, everything was already premade so if you didn’t like what was in there it was not possible to change it. Although I specifically told the cashier I was vegan, he continue to suggest things with cheese and would not accept that their standard Feta cheese was not considered vegan by anybody. I ended up with a $9 smoothie, a date bar, and some coconut truffles. Vibe is quite cool inside, a art display / gallery / cafe setup, with quiet music playing.

Cons: Premade food only - no changes or subs , Staff not educated on what vegan means , Limited options

Mmmm.... - Edit
Lovely eclectic cafe with plenty of vegan options and good take out options. I needed a quick brunch for on the go and so I popped in here, there was a plethora of options and I opted for vegan Pesto pasta and a gluten free vegan brownie topped with coconut both were absolutely delicious, the Pesto pasta salad was flavourful and had a good range of texture and the brownie is unexplainable- you have to try it to understand. The staff were friendly and experienced my two items were packed nicely into individual little plastic tubs and placed in a paper bag with a fork for each one and some napkins, it was like a little packed lunch- cute! I loved the eclectic and extremely artistic decor they also sell vegan clothes pins by a brand I can't remember the name of!

fav spot in town - Edit
My boyfriend and I eat here all the time. The decor and vibe is awesome. They have lots of vegan baking (brownies, cookies, date squares, etc.). They normally have two vegan soups with vegan cornbread (if they don't sell out before u get there). They have a roast beet or tabouli salad that are both vegan. They have a vegan Thai wrap with a yummy peanut dip. And now on Friday's they have vegan grilled cheese!

Funky decor and yummy food - Edit
I just popped in to quickly grab food but I wish I had time to sit down and eat there. The cafe has a really great vibe to it. I got the thai wrap and a banana cookie (both vegan) and was impressed. They have daily soups that are vegan friendly and everything is clearly labelled.

A la carte items, but not meals - Edit
Based on reviews we headed here for dinner... but this is a coffee house, not a cafe or a restaurant. They have a lovely menu on the chalkboard, but the primary veggie entree, the lasagna, has been discontinued.

Nice space, friendly staff. - Edit
Brought my mom and family friend for lunch. They were happy to find vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu. I enjoyed the vegan lentil soup, thai noodle wrap, and super yummy vegan gluten free brownie. I founbd the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. My only critique is that I wish there were more vegan options. Restauranteurs need to be reminded that EVERYONE can eat vegan options: kosher, halal, hindu, vegetarians, people with allergies, etc etc etc. No need to label it vegan, call it egg and dairy free if you think that's less intimidating. So, people, yes I recommend this place but be sure to request more vegan options so they get the message.
